Episode 6 of Superman & Lois has been delayed to May. As the newcomer to the Arrowverse, the series follows the lives of Clark Kent and Lois Lane after they move back to Smallville to raise their twin sons, juggling both work and family.
However, after its usual weekly run, it will be a while until Episode 6 comes out.
Although the series was keeping to its schedule until now, the upcoming episode had to be delayed due to a member of the crew testing positive for COVID-19, which created a domino effect and thus, production had to be shut down.
This resulted in the release date being pushed to almost two months away since Episode 5 came out in March, and the succeeding one will now air on May 18.
Replacing Superman & Lois in its time slot, Supergirl Season 6 will take its place until the former makes its return again.
The pandemic has affected the production and filming of all Arrowverse shows, with speculations of further delays.
Even though some films and TV series began filming in 2020 to wrap up as early as possible, Superman & Lois is still in production and will not make it until June 2021.
Episode 6, which has been much anticipated, has already provided an early look for eager fans. The trailer promo for the upcoming episode titled “Smells Like Teen Spirit” shows Jordan getting caught up in some troubles due to his powers while he tries to keep them from Clark.
But unfortunately, it seems that’s not his only worry as the trailer shows General Lane coming after him.
The promo also hints at a team-up between Lana and Lois, which is an exciting dynamic to look out for as both will apparently take on the notorious Morgan Edge.
It could give us a better look at the relationship between Clark and Lex Luthor, especially with the latter being related to Lois; he has all the more reason to seek Superman.
But until then, it’s a long wait till May for Episode 6’s release.
