Yesterday, Mortal Kombat dropped a trailer first on Instagram and then on YouTube that features Mileena’s return, who is a fan favorite in the Mortal Kombat community, and oh boy, this is possibly one of the most gore-hungry characters in the game!
Look, I get it. Mortal Kombat takes the cake as being one of the goriest games of all time, and Mortal Kombat 11 only further cements that fact, being chock full of scenes that are so gory that many may end up feeling a little bit uncomfortable.
Though I might sound like a complete psychopath when I say this, there’s also some hilarity to how the characters are damaged and finished off in this game.
I mean, it is kind of funny, right? No? No one? Okay.
Anyhow, I got to say, though. Mileena will undoubtedly be one gory beast to watch out for in the game, even by Mortal Kombat’s standards. Just take a look at this trailer and see for yourself:
She just rolled over an enemy and stabbed them in the ears, juggled them around, licked their face, only to straight-up destroy their neck!
I mean, just look at how she just pinned an enemy to the ground, played the knife game on their face, and then checked her hand to see if it’s alright. That’s a big oof in my book.
But that’s not all! Look at how she continuously stabbed an enemy, ripped their neck out, jumped and destroyed both of their eyes, and then ripped the other half of their neck! One would think that should be the end of it, but no! All that brutalizing didn’t result in a fatality!
Mileena then proceeds to summon her goddamn inner Sonic the Hedgehog or Beyblade and, well, utterly destroys the enemy to bits! Yeah, I think that enemy was already dead when she popped their eyes out.
Anyhow, you get the point. Mileena is here, and she’s gory as heck, so be sure to grab her when she drops in the game as part of the Kombat Pack 2 DLC on November 17th!
