Bridgerton 2’s First Clip Shows Kathony’s Passionate Love-Hate Romance

Netflix’s global fan event TUDUM was a blessing in disguise. Fans of feisty romance are up for yet another Bridgerton family member’s romantic life, which will turn out to be an absolute rollercoaster.

The first look of the much-anticipated and refreshing Bridgerton 2 was released at Netflix’s TUDUM.

The teaser clip offers a glimpse of our newest to-be couple, Anthony Bridgerton and Kate Sharma’s quarrel in the house’s garden, away from the party.

With only their strong opinions piercing through the silence, the one-minute sixteen seconds clip indeed is filled with sexual tension.

For fans, it seems like the aristocrat Anthony has finally found his match. A man who has a list of “requirements” noted down for his potential future wife, Kate’s no-nonsense attitude opposing his views with rather witty and insulting remarks comes off as a shocking surprise to the Viscount.

Jonathan Bailey as Anthony Bridgerton and Simone Ashley as Kate Sharma, we’re bound to get another incredible romance story in Bridgerton 2.

Now watch variations of Kate’s “Your character is as deficient as your horsemanship” become the newest insult in town.

While the first look does seem exciting, it does contain a cliched arc of a self-centered, pompous man falling for a “fearless,” “carefree” woman unafraid of putting herself first.

But with producer Shonda Rhimes and showrunner Chris Van Dusen, fans can definitely expect the sequel to be as stunning as the Emmy award-winning first season.

Bridgerton 2 will have Anthony up against Cupid – as he’s actually trying to marry Kate’s sister, Edwina Sharma. As luck, or well, Cupid has it, the charming aristocrat has no choice but to get attracted towards the fiery Kate Sharma.

Meanwhile, multiple original Bridgerton cast is reported to make their return to the show, except Regé-Jean Page, who confirmed his no return in April.

However, this is just season 2. Netflix has renewed Bridgerton for four seasons, so fans will have a lot to look forward to.

Bridgerton season 2 will stream exclusively on Netflix in 2022.
