Fans are Expecting a New God of War Ragnarok Trailer at PlayStation’s State of Play

God of War is returning this November with the final installment in the Norse realms. God of War Ragnarok has high expectations, succeeding the wildly popular God of War(2018). The game has been showcased already, but fans are awaiting a trailer to get a better look at the game.

Recently, Sony PlayStation tweeted out the official announcement of a brand new PlayStation State of Play presentation, set to premiere on September 13. The event is expected to showcase and maybe even reveal some gameplay of upcoming projects arriving on PlayStation.

However, the fire has been subsided by the announcement on PlayStation Blog that points explicitly to Japanese-made games as having a major presence. “We’ll have some great updates from our amazing Japanese partners,” senior director of communications at Sony Interactive Entertainment, Sid Shuman, writes in the new post.

There is still a little hope for Ragnarok fans as he also adds that there will be “few other surprises from developers all around the world.” This single statement has now kept fans eagerly hoping for a God of War Ragnarok trailer to make an appearance.

God of War Ragnarok arrives on November 9th for PS5 and PS4, less than just two months from today. Hence, releasing a trailer now at such an event would not be surprising, and fortunately, we might just see that.

About God of War Ragnarok

God of War Ragnarok is an action-adventure game developed by Santa Monica Studio and published by Sony Interactive Entertainment. It was released on November 9, 2022, for PS4 and PS5.

Ragnarok is the ninth installment in the God of War series, chronologically, and the sequel to 2018’s God of War. Loosely based on Norse mythology, the game is set in ancient Norway and features series protagonists Kratos and his young son Atreus. The events of the game are expected to initiate Ragnarok – a series of events that, according to Norse lore, bring about the end of days and the death of the Norse gods.
