‘Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead’ is arriving this summer and it must be among the most-awaited anime. A zombie-horror-comedy is not something you get to watch all the time, and its unique plot covering the two opposite emotions only adds up to the fun.
Akira Tendo, who is exploited at the workplace of his dreams, tries to pull his spirits up every day and struggle through. However, a zombie outbreak changes his life, freeing him from the grind and allowing him to live his life thrillingly.
On Sunday, Viz Media released a second trailer and visual for the ‘Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead’ anime. The video reveals theme song artists and two more cast members. It will premiere on July 9, with Hulu and Netflix confirmed to stream.
This trailer includes some footage from the previous one but reveals the plot more smoothly. Akira Tendo shows his enthusiasm, disillusionment, and burnout from his workplace. Later, as zombies begin to take over the place, he realizes that he does not have to go to work anymore, elating him.
KANA-BOON has performed the opening theme song “Song of the Dead”. In the end, the ending song “Happiness of the Dead” by Shiyui plays in the background.
As seen in the visual below and the trailer, Viz Media revealed two new characters – Kenichiro “Kencho” Ryuzaki and Beatrix Amerhauser. The following artists will voice the characters:

As I mentioned earlier, the haunting fear of a zombie apocalypse combined with the ‘YOLO’ feeling has kept me looking forward to ‘Zom 100’. The theme songs are aptly picked. If you have read the manga, do you think it is worth trying out?
