Sho, a public figure, takes care of survivors in an underground restaurant while also fighting zombies with a crew of his fans. Meanwhile, Akira discovers that he now has a network on his phone and calls his friend Kencho.
Kencho was Akira’s closest friend since college, and they often met for drinks. He constantly encouraged Akira to quit his job because of its hectic schedule while bragging about his luxurious career and life. Kencho thinks of Akira and, at the same time, receives a call from him.
Kencho is trapped in a bondage room with a sex worker who is turning into a zombie. Kencho tells Akira he is in Shinjuku, who rushes on his bike to save Kencho.
Akira kills all the zombies surrounding Kencho using an alarm and an explosive. Kencho and Akira make it to a roof of a building to escape from a horde of incoming zombies, and Akira jumps from the rooftop to another rooftop opposite to it.
Too scared to jump, Kencho apologizes for his arrogant behavior and confesses he hated his job and wanted to be a stand-up comedian. Akira tells him he can still be one, and Kencho finally jumps, landing naked. Akira and Kencho sit together and drink naked till the evening. Drinking and laughing was one of the things on Akira’s wishlist.

Zom 100: Bucket List of the Dead is a dystopian horror-comedy manga series written by Haro Aso and illustrated by Kotaro Takata. It has been serialized in Shogakukan’s seinen manga magazine Monthly Sunday Gene-X since October 2018 and is collected into 13 volumes.
The manga was also nominated for the Eisner Award in two categories in 2022.
The story follows a 24-year-old Akira Tendou who has lost all his motivation and spirit due to working for an exploitative company.
