Zack Snyder has assembled a fresh new team for a fresh new world in Army of Thieves, a prequel to his famous movie, Army of the Dead.
The director, producer, writer, and mastermind, Snyder, released three new striking posters giving the world a good look at the new team in the upcoming movie.
Army of the Dead used earthy tones throughout its movie and even the poster; its prequel offers the colorful world that existed before the zombie apocalypse. Or at least, when it started.
We see Ludwig Dieter (Matthias Schweighöfer), Korina (Ruby O. Fee), Gwendoline (Nathalie Emmanue), Brad Cage (Stuart Martin), and Delacroix (Jonathan Cohen) in their avatars against eye-catching colorful patterns.
All three posters come with a tagline. A personal favorite is “Vegas isn’t the only place to win big,” hinting at the hundreds of millions of dollar heist Dieter’s team is about to take up.

The movie focuses on Dieter’s journey to becoming the genius safe-cracker; fans will get to see a different version of him. The prequel occurs during the initial stages of the zombie apocalypse. Hence, the movie focuses less on zombies and more on the multiple characters and their choices, leading to a zombie-filled, heist-loving world.
One of the posters calls the movie’s plot out the best – Before zombies took over the world, one team took advantage by utilizing the instability of America’s banks.
The trailer of Army of Thieves showcased the group in action. Well, at least their first meeting. A mysterious woman hires Dieter after he wins a safe-cracking match, and voila! One by one, we meet the team members through his eyes.
Snyder’s genius movie-making skills are loved by many. Especially after Zack Snyder’s The Suicide Squad, leading fans to completely forget the ‘other’ Suicide Squad.
Him extending his Army of the Dead franchise is good news to many. Here’s hoping the prequel surpasses our expectations.
Army of Thieves will premiere on Netflix on October 29.
