Yuri Is My Job! Reveals April 6 Debut, 2nd P.V, Visual, Opening Song

As we draw near the date of the premiere of Yuri Is My Job! Fans are eagerly awaiting to experience this popular story come to life in animated form. The official website of the anime has revealed information for the fans as they wait for the debut of the series.

Based on the yuri manga written and illustrated by Miman, the television anime adaptation of Yuri Is My Job! has revealed a new visual, the second trailer, and a premiere date.

The anime will premiere in Japan on the AT-X and TOKYO MX channels on April 6, BS FUJI on April 7, and BS NTV on April 8. On March 25, the anime will also have an early screening of the first two episodes, as well as a special chat show with the crew, at Tokyo’s United Cinemas Toyosu.

On Tuesday, the anime’s second promotional video, main visual were released. The video previews the opening theme song, “Himitsu Melody” (Secret Melody), by Hime Shirasagi’s voice actress, Yui Ogura.

The series focuses on Hime, a cute girl whose charms can melt anyone, but all of it is a facade as her goal is to marry a billionaire using her attractive personality. One day, she accidentally bumps against Mai, a cafe manager, and finds herself working in her place.

The cafe has a private school theme and there she meets Mitsuki. Mitsuki seems elegant and kind at first, but soon she turns out to be quite a moody girl who hates Hime’s guts.
