Yowamushi Pedal, created by Wataru Watanabe, is being adapted into its first live-action movie. The premiere date for the movie was previously announced to be 14th August.
Recently, three cast members of the movie were announced:
Ren Nagase will act as Sakamichi Onoda
Kentaro Ito will act as Shunsuke Imaizumi
Kanna Hashimoto will act as Miki Kanzaki
The film will be directed by Kōichirō Miki. Ren Nagase, known for his part in the idol group King & Prince, has been bicycle training since December for his role.
The manga has been previously adapted into 4 seasons, the first of which premiered in 2013. All four seasons are available on Crunchyroll for streaming.

Wataru Watanabe’s Yowamushi Pedal manga started serializing in Akita Shonen’s Weekly Shonen Champion in 2008. It’s 65th compiled volume will be released on 7th February 2020. The story revolves around an Otaku, Sakamichi Onoda.
