The penultimate episode of Young Sheldon pokes fun at George’s affair in episode 6, titled “An Ugly Car, An Affair and some Kickass Football.
George gets his job back at the high school. After Georgie trades his old car for a more family-friendly model, Georgie and Mandy’s romance also makes some headway. But Mandy and Georgie might soon face new trouble in the finale.
1. Episode 7 Synopsis/Speculation
Sheldon’s search for a comic book leads him to a breakthrough; Georgie and Mandy have an uncomfortable first encounter with her parents.
Mandy’s parents come into the mix again and the finale might end up with Mandy taking Georgie’s side and making peace with her parents on her terms. What we know for sure is that it’ll be one awkward lunch.
Georgie’s newfound maturity is sweet, but do you think it’ll last? He does seem very serious about the child’s well-being and keeping things steady with Mandy. We’ll see how this changes the couple’s relationship in the final episode.
What will be Sheldon’s breakthrough is the main question for the next episode, but we can only wait for the next episode to unveil that mystery.

Georgie sells his old car for a more family-friendly model impressing Mandy. George and Tom head over to search for Wayne, only to find him drinking his sorrows away since his wife cheated on him with his best friend and ended up getting pregnant.
Georgie’s sweet action sway Mandy into his charms, but she grows suspicious of his and Connie’s hush business at the laundromat. After a police officer visits them and Mandy deduces they’re dealing drugs, Meemaw and Georgie reveal their secret poker business.
Unexpectedly, Mandy seems more than okay with the “legal” side business and is happy her child gets a secure future. Meanwhile, George takes over from a depressed Wayne, gets a win for his team, and scores his old job back.
Georgie and Mandy spend the night, and when Mandy sneaks back into Connie’s house, they share an awkward conversation.
6. About Young Sheldon
Young Sheldon is an American sitcom series for CBS, a spin-off of Big Bang Theory. It is created by Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro.
It is set in the late 1980s and early 1990s, following the character Sheldon Cooper from the age of nine, going to high school. Iain Armitage plays young Sheldon, joined by Zoe Perry and Lance Barber as Mrs and Mr Cooper, and Montana Jordan and Raegan Revord as siblings Georgie and Missy respectively.
Jim Parsons, who stars as the adult Sheldon Cooper on The Big Bang Theory, narrates the series, also serving as an executive producer.
