Dwayne Johnson has lived a life full of ‘content.’ Who doesn’t want a life like The Rock?
But his life story is a broth of ecstasy, despair, and everything in between. He decided to make a TV series out of his life a few years back. So, here we are with its third season just on the horizon!
The show does a fair job of blending flashbacks with flash-forwards where Dwayne Johnson is running for President.
While season 1 was below par, its sequel seemed to have been well received by the fans. Now, with the third season just on the horizon, let’s try and speculate what to expect from this installment!
1. Season 3 Speculation
The finale of season 2 has two significant events that will surely bleed into season 3.
The first one is Rocky’s WrestleMania debut. Rocky’s fight with The Sultan is anti-climactic, and the Rock is saved from a heavy defeat by his dad. Iconic chants of “Rocky sucks” hog the spotlight. Season 3 could mark Rock’s rise to fame in the WrestleMania circle.
The creators have not revealed anything about the phase of Rock’s wrestling career that will be shown in season 3. But we can expect many WWE superstars to have cameos in the show.
If they show Rock’s early days, there is a chance for Triple H, Mick Foley, The Undertaker, and Steve Austin to make appearances.
If the Nation of Domination phase takes center stage, we might be able to see Faarooq, D’Lo Brown, and Owen Hart, among others.
The WrestleMania phase of Rock could become the focal point of the events of season 3.
Now, coming to the flash-forward phase of the series, the season 2 finale isn’t a good time for 60-year-old Dwayne.
Dwayne Johnson of 2032 receives a huge blow when he loses out on the run for President to Brayden Taft.
Creators Nahnatchka Khan and Jeff Chiang have hinted that season 3 will take place one year after Johnson loses the election.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly,
“He’s sort of stepped out of the public eye a little bit, but then he gets the call from President Taft telling him there’s a national crisis and he needs Dwayne’s help. So, he kind of gets pulled back into the mix.”

We expected Dwayne to win the election, but the climax threw us off.
Season 3 can mark his redemption or downfall. Will Rock declare himself as the future President of America? We’ll have to wait for one more week to get the answer!
