But even though Joe Goldberg is still looking for Marienne in the latest season, disguised as Jonathan Moore he has also set his eyes on someone new.
After its premiere on Lifetime in September 2018, Netflix quickly bought You and premiered the show’s second season in December 2019. The show quickly picked up traction, becoming one of the most popular TV series on the streaming platform.
Going from a simple stalker story to complicated love lives leading to mass murder spurred on by jealousy, each season brings something new to the series.
The show is finally returning for a new season in 2023, with Joe Goldberg moving to London under the guise of Professor Jonathan Moore, where he finds himself among “the most insane, damaged people on Earth, a circle of privileged douchebags.”
Season 4, comprising ten episodes, is divided evenly into two parts – part 1, premiering today, on February 9, and part 2, premiering a month later, on March 9.
Penn Badgley and Tati Gabrielle are returning in season 4, reprising their roles as Joe and Marienne but apart from them, the new season boasts an entirely new cast. The new cast members include Charlotte Ritchie, Stephen Hagan, Tilly Keeper, Lukas Gage, Amy-Leigh Hickman, and Ed Speelers.
