After 4+ seasons, Yellowstone is still going as great as ever. Episode 3 builds on the momentum created by the two-episode premiere and sheds light on the enmity between the Duttons and Market Equities.
Meanwhile, Montana has a new Governor. Will the new Governor jeopardize the lives of John Dutton, or does the latter have something up its sleeve?

1. Season 5, Episode 4 Speculation
Let’s start with the ending; Beth gets arrested, to no one’s surprise.
She has a peculiar storyline this week. She goes to Salt Lake City to take care of her real estate and suddenly sells her share of Schwartz and Mayer! While she gets a lot of money, the CEO, Caroline Warner, struggles to stabilize the company.
I think Beth’s endgame is to get the CEO fired. By this time, we are all aware that hostilities exist between them. Given the chronology of events, it will be an easy job for her.
Nemesis strikes at the very end when Beth gets arrested for a petty reason. She breaks a beer bottle on a random woman’s head because she is hitting on Rip.
It will be interesting to see what legal barriers the Duttons will break in the next episode to free her.
Coming to Jamie, he is the new district attorney and has a lot on his plate from the word go.
Two key events will likely take place as a result of this.
Sarah will again use Jamie as a pawn to get her way and create significant problems for him. We saw him mess up a blackmail situation with a journalist, and he had to kill her to sort that up.
Will Jamie ever do anything right? The next episode will give us more insights into his new post and the problems that come with it.
Also, the wolf collar problem is getting bigger and bigger in the Dutton farms. The Ranch boys will have to keep an eye on what is happening with the wolf collars. Stray wolves are coming now and then, which will continue in future episodes.
Likely, this time the Dutton resources will not clear this gigantic mess that is taking shape in the story. Wait until next Sunday to find out more!

This week’s episode opens with a flashback of young John Dutton patrolling the pastures. We find out that wolf sightings have increased in Montana, and the Governor is incapable of handling the problem.
At present, the ranch is celebrating Lloyd’s birthday. It is cut short by the arrival of National Park Rangers, who come looking for their missing wolves.
In Utah, Beth sells her stake in Schwartz and Meyer on the condition that she gets to keep the firm’s real estate. Beth places the land under nature conservation, thus making it unusable for Market Equities.
In the end, Beth takes her bunkhouse friends for a few drinks in a bar. She hits a woman on the head for hitting on Rip and is arrested by the police.
