Jackie confronts Shauna and demands to know what she’s been hiding from her. Shauna tells her that she lost her virginity to Randy and ended up getting pregnant. However, Jackie discovers the truth when she reads Shauna’s diary. In the present day, Shauna cheats on her husband with Adam. However, it’s still unclear who Adam is. Fans have theorized that Adam is in fact, a grown-up Javi. Could he also be the blackmailer?
Van is dragged away by one of the wolves. By the time Taissa finds her, she’s stopped moving and half of her face has been ripped off by the animal, so it’s very unlikely that she’s still alive. How will Taissa cope with losing Van? Find out in the next episode.

Yellowjackets Season 1 Episode 7 Recap
In the present, Taissa, Natalie, and Shauna prepare for the money drop to the blackmailer. They put a tracker in the bag but Natalie points a gun at the wrong guy and the blackmailer runs off with the money. Natalie ends up breaking up with Kevyn when he confronts her about using his gun.
Misty confronts Jessica in the basement. Jessica is surprisingly calm and tells her this isn’t the first time she’s been held hostage. She tells her that Taissa hired her but withholds information about Travis’ death till Misty threatens to hurt her father. She tells her that Travis’ bank account was closed soon after he died. So whoever killed him probably has the money as well.
In 1996, the oncoming threat of winter forces the group to seek out resources and hopefully find more human civilization. Lottie tells Van about her visions of a blood river that she saw in her dream. The group actually comes across a river stained a murky red-brown and their compass starts to malfunction. Later that night, the group is attacked by wolves and Taissa kills the wolf that mauled Van.
