Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki, the representative anime of Nagoya, Japan, will soon get its third anime season. Yatogame-chan, with her cute cat-like features and blatant Nagoya accent, has become quite popular.
The anime, with its accurate representation of different prefectures of Japan, is adapted from the manga by Masaki Ando. It is a comic anime which strives to show the different cultures in Japan, focusing on Nagoya.
The official website of Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki announced that the anime’s third season will premiere on 10th January 2021. It will air on TV Aichi, BS11 and AT-X. It will also be streamed on Hikari TV and d Anime Store.
Season 3 will consist of a single cour. The second season will be rebroadcasted from 13th December 2020.

The tweet with the official announcement also contains a short trailer. The video shows the characters excitedly talking about the different prefectures and their specialties.

The first season of the anime aired from April to June 2019. The second season of the anime titled Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki 2 Satsume aired from January to March 2020.
The cast and staff from the previous seasons will be reprising their roles in the third season, Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki 3 Satsume.
The manga currently has 450,000 in circulation, and 70% of the sales are from the Tokai region. It is a comic work where the main character is Yatogame-chan, a girl with cat ears, a grandma-like attitude, and a blatant Nagoya accent.

Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki is a four-panel manga by Masaki Ando published in the Monthly Comics Rex magazine. It has an anime adaptation with two seasons and an upcoming third season.
Yatogame-chan is a highschool girl with cat ears and a blatant Nagoya accent. Jin Kaito has just moved to Nagoya from Tokyo and meets Yatogame-chan.
She doesn’t seem to be opening up to Jin at all. The popular comedy teaches us about the different cultures in Japan.
