Episode 22 of Yashahime saw the demonic side of Setsuna after her seal was broken. Lady Zero used Miroku’s spell and opened the seal that kept Setsuna’s demonic powers under control.
Setsuna started a rampage and destroyed the town before Towa risked her life to stop her. Miroku’s oldest daughter Kin’u finally sealed the powers back.
However, the powers were not completely sealed off and the demon blood in Setsuna’s body enraged her and she vowed to take revenge on Lady Zero.
Later, in the modern era, the Grim Comet’s was seen approaching Japan by Towa’s school teacher. Is the Grim Comet a threat to both Modern and Feudal Japan? Let’s wait to find out in the next episode of Yashahime.

Episode 23 of the Yashahime anime anime, titled “The Three Princesses Strike Back”, has been released on Saturday, Mar 13, 2021.

A small preview of Episode 23 was shown at the end of the 22nd episode.
Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha finally locate Lady Zero’s whereabouts and try to kill her. But, Riku obstructs their plan and fights the girls in-order to protect Lady Zero.
Lady Zero is finally struck down and Riku seems to not be able to comprehend the situation. Fans wonder how will Riku react to Zero’s death. Will he try to avenge her?
The preview also shows Rin finally opening her eyes inside the Tree of Ages. Sesshoumaru is also seen near the tree.

3. Episode 21 Recap
The episode starts by showing off Sesshoumaru and Kirinmaru’s teamwork as they both destroy the Grim Comet. Later, Lady Zero disguised as Otsuyu attacks Miroku and steals Setsuna’s demonic power seal.
She later approaches the three girls and hypnotizes Towa to pry Setsuna’s sword off of her hands. After undoing Setsuna’s seal, her demonic powers burst out making her take on a beast-like appearance.
Lady Zero makes her escape during the whole pandemonium, as Towa and Moroha try to stop Setsuna from causing a rampage.
Towa tries to throw herself at her sister in-order to stop her but every method fails. Setsuna eventually binds her powers into two wings resembling the Dream Butterfly and flies away.
Towa catches up to Setsuna and stops her and even bears the pain caused by Setsuna’s constant attacks. Being the older sister, Towa promises to bring Setsuna’s consciousness back.
Their rainbow pearls combine to form a sort of connection and Setsuna regains consciousness. Later, Hisui’s sister Kin’u seals the powers back and Setsuna promises to take revenge on Lady Zero for the deed she has done.
The episode ends with Towa’s teacher Osamu Kirin noticing the approaching Grim Comet and later approaching Towa’s father and sister.
