At the start of Episode 18 of Yashahime, Towa and Setsuna apprehended Konton and fought him. Konton used his magic to create a monster to fight the sisters but they managed to stop it and made it out of the fog.
Meanwhile, Moroha was fighting Totetsu when Towa and Setsuna arrived to lend a hand. Totetsu ran away in fear of his own life being at stake.
Later, the girls faced Kirinmaru and got badly injured. Sesshoumaru appeared before them and fought Kirinmaru, only to leave after a short while.

Moroha is seen confused amidst the whole pandemonium.
Fans wonder if Towa and Setsuna are fighting for real or is it just a pretend play for the princess.

3. Episode 17 Recap
Trapped in the fog, Towa and Setsuna fight Konton when he sends a monster their way.
Setsuna quickly uses a strong wind spell which drives away the fog only to reveal them amidst the mountains and Konton gone, leaving behind his armor and a blue rainbow pearl.
Meanwhile, Moroha is fighting Totetsu in the mountains when Towa and Setsuna come to help her. Konton in fear of his own life has fled the scene.
The girls begin chasing him, only to be greeted by Kirinmaru. He wastes no time in fighting the girls and badly injures them.
Sesshoumaru appears amidst the fight and rescues the girls. The two have an intense fight before Kirinmaru decides to leave and Sesshoumaru leaves shortly after, leaving the unconscious girls behind.
Later, Moroha wakes Towa and Setsuna up, and the three spend the night thinking about why Sesshoumaru and Kirinmaru had left instead of fighting each other.
The episode comes to an end with Setsuna playing her violin, and Towa thinking about her father.
