At the start of Episode 17 of Yashahime, Riku approached Konton in his secret hideout. Konton planned to trap the Half-Demon sisters in his secret enchantment and Riku offered to act as a bait to help.
Riku shared some false information about Totetsu to Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha. He lured the girls into a shrine and as the girls were trying to apprehend Totetsu he fled into a desolate fog filled area.
The fogs separated Towa and Setsuna from Moroha and the two ended up trapped inside the enchantment.
Later, the sisters found a way to cut a path out of the enchantment and eventually found Konton’s base.

While apprehending Totetsu and Konton, Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha, come across Kirinmaru. Just as the girls get ready to fight Kirinmaru, Sesshoumaru, Towa and Setsuna’s father, makes his entry into the battle.
Konton still possesses the blue rainbow pearls and plans to utilize it for his evil deeds.
Fans wonder if Sesshoumaru will be able to recognize his daughters and help them fight Kirinmaru?

3. Episode 17 Recap
Riku’s motives are still quite unclear as we find him approaching Konton and telling him that he will help capture the girls.
Riku plans a fake attack on Totetsu and lets the girls fall right into Konton’s trap.
Towa, Setsuna, and Moroha with a plan to kill Totetsu chase after him as he disappears into the fog. Moroha chases Totetsu and somehow ends up separated from her cousin sisters.
Meanwhile, Towa and Setsuna walk into Konton’s enchantment and can’t seem to be able to get out of it. Moroha also gets trapped on the mountains as we see Konton controlling his spell and throwing monsters at Moroha.
Setsuna and Towa use their swords to cut a way out of the enchantment. And we find Moroha struggling to climb her way up the foggy mountains.
Now free from the trap, Towa and Setsuna end up in front of Konton’s base. They plan to take out Konton and stop his evil doings once and for all. The episode comes to an end with an enraged Konton now determined to kill Towa and Setsuna.
