She even shares how she got possession of the Kurikaramaru sword from her master, Yawaragi.
Later, due to Konton’s threatening to destroy a key, Moroha’s master Yawaragi challenges her to a fight. Konton seeking an opportunity attacks the two and kills Yawaragi. Moroha promises to avenge her master’s death and bring Konton down.

Episode 17 of the Yashahime anime, titled “Trap of the Two Perils”, has been released on Saturday, Jan 30, 2021.

A small preview of Episode 17 was shown at the end of the sixteenth episode.
Towa, Setsuna, Moroha, and Riku go on a journey to slay one of the four Perils, Totetsu. But, it seems Konton was already aware of the situation and trapped the sisters.
The girls try to figure out a way out of the trap while Riku declares his desire for the rainbow pearls that are in the girls’ possession.
Fans wonder what’s Riku’s real motive and why is he tagging along with the Half-Demon princesses all of a sudden?
Will Konton be finally defeated? Episode 17 might delve into the truth about the situation.
3. Episode 16 Recap
Moroha, Towa, and Setsuna come across a new challenger standing in their way. The challenger turns out to be Moroha’s master Yawaragi from the Wolf-Demon tribe.
Seeing her master, Moroha recalls the story of three years ago when she last saw him. She remembers her master Yawaragi signing a deal with the corpse dealer Jyubei to let Moroha do some bounty hunting.
Jyubei was the one to suggest Yawaragi to hand over the Kurikaramaru sword to Moroha in exchange for gold.
Meeting him after 3 years, Moroha now asks why Yawaragi has returned all of a sudden. To which her master replies by saying that he went on a journey to find the blacksmith rats responsible for making the cursed armor Yawaragi was wearing.
But, when he found the village, all the rats were slayed by Konton. Konton had even threatened to destroy the armor key if Yawaragi does not slay Moroha.
Moroha sends a powerful crimson wave towards Konton and Yawaragi but Konton in possession of the blue rainbow pearls quickly dodges the attack letting Yawaragi take the hit.
The attack injures Yawaragi badly and he dies on the spot leaving Moroha to be overwhelmed by grief. But, Towa cheers her up by saying that she still has her sisters by her side.
The episode comes to an end with the Half-Demon princesses walking away from Yawaragi’s grave.
