3. Episode 15 Recap
Riku acts as storyteller in this episode and shares the story of how the Half-Demon princesses lost their parents.
Riku visits Kagome and warns her about Kirinmaru, a demon who despises the dog-demon clan. He tells Kagome that Kirinmaru will try to kill her unborn child and the newborn twins of Rin and Sesshoumaru.
Heeding this warning Kagome visits Rin and finds Sesshoumaru who is already aware of the warning. Sesshoumaru takes the girls to the Tree of Ages and seals it up for their protection and later keeps Rin in there as well.
Kagome soon gives birth to Moroha but later, she and Inuyasha are apprehended by Sesshoumaru and Kirinmaru. Just as Kirinmaru is about to strike them down, Sesshoumaru seals them both inside the black pearl belonging to their mother.
Meanwhile, Moroha was sent to the wolf-tribe to keep her safe.
Later, the demon Zero finds the twins sleeping inside the Tree of Ages and sets the forest on fire to kill them. That is how the twins got separated.
The pearl in Towa’s eye that was once gifted to her by Sesshoumaru, opened up the portal to modern day Japan sending Towa there while Setsuna grew up as a demon slayer.
The episode comes to an end with Riku finishing his story.
