With the series slowly approaching the end of the season, Episode 13 of Yashahime starts with Totetsu, the fourth member of the Four Perils, attacking a group of virtuous monks to increase his powers.
Finding out about the incident, Kohaku sends Towa, Setsuna and Hisui to investigate and protect Hisui’s father, Miroku.
Later, Toketsu attacks Miroku to devour his powers but the sisters deflect his every attack and later use spiritual powers to scare him off.

Episode 14 of the Yashahime anime, titled “The One Behind the Forest Fire”, has been released on Saturday, Jan 09, 2021.

2. Episode 14 Speculation
A small preview of Episode 14 was shown at the end of the thirteenth episode.
Towa, Setsuna and Moroha face a new evil named Homura, the Mountain God, while trying to rescue a girl named Tamano.
Homura is surprised to see the sisters possessing the rainbow pearls and plans to attack.
Fans are excited to see some disclosure to Towa and Setsuna’s past as the next episode will finally reveal how the two sisters were separated by the forest fire.
Who caused the forest fire and what was Tamano’s role in it?
Episode 14 might reveal some truth behind it and delve more into the past where all the adults were still present.
3. Episode 13 Recap
Setsuna, Towa and Hisui decide to help keep Miroku safe from Totetsu’s advances.
While Moroha is instructed by Jyubei to protect another monk from Totetsu who seems to be running amok and attacking virtuous monks for their powers.
Although, possessing an orange rainbow pearl of his own, Totetsu seems power hungry and his rampage even grabs the attention of demon slayers.
Hisui seems to have quite a resentment towards his father but complies to his uncle’s orders and begins their journey towards Miroku’s shrine.
Meanwhile, we finally get to see Sango as she talks to her daughter Gyokuto about Miroku.
Later, Miroku is seen training hard for his 1000 days course when Gyokuto visits him. Soon enough, Hisui, Towa and Setsuna arrive riding Kirara.
Miroku wants to regain some spiritual powers as he now feels powerless without the wind tunnel that was in his hand.
Moroha arrives at the shrine while Hisui explains his resentment towards Miroku. He thinks his father being cooped up in the mountains is causing financial troubles for his family and his mother Sango is suffering as well.
Just as they are talking, Totestu attacks Miroku but is apprehended by Towa and her sisters.
However, Hisui is poisoned but Miroku helps him. Setsuna with the help of Miroku undoes the spell restraining her demon blood and attacks Totetsu who later retreats.
Towa sees a new side to Setsuna while Miroku puts the seal back on.
The episode comes to an end with Sango talking to her son about Miroku’s 200 days of training remaining.
