With the series slowly approaching the end of the season, Episode 12 of Yashahime starts as Konton, burning with a thirst for revenge, appoints a former sage turned apparition named Nikosen to destroy the half-demon sisters.
The sisters have a hard time trying to fight Nikosen while the fans are once again reminded of Inuyasha as Towa’s beautiful silver hair turns black during the night of the new moon.
Later, the arrival of the new day brings Towa’s powers back to her and she slashes through Nikosen’s body.

1. Episode 13 Release Date
Episode 13 of the Yashahime anime, titled “The Delicious Feudal Monks”, has been released on Saturday, Dec 26, 2020.

No, Yashahime is not on a break next week. Episode 13 will be released as scheduled.
2. Episode 13 Speculation
A small preview of Episode 13 was shown at the end of the twelfth episode.
Towa, Setsuna and Hisui visit Miroku after hearing about a demon attacking virtuous monks and Shinto priests and end up crossing paths with Totetsu, one of the four perils.
Miroku has been training for 1000 days to attain divine powers and we also get of glimpse of Sango.
Fans are excited to see Miroku and Sango once again in this new series. But some wonder about Hisui’s resentment towards his father. Sango is also seen all alone without Miroku by her side, so there must be an untold story about the whole situation.
What happened to Hisui and Miroku and why does Sango seem uphappy?
Episode 13 might reveal some truth behind it and delve more into the past where all the adults were still present.
3. Episode 12 Recap
Setsuna and Towa hear the news about an apparition named Nikosen decaying the trees on a mountain top and decide to investigate.
The sisters find Moroha searching for the same demon and group up with her to fight Nikosen.
Nikosen, the demon, is appointed by Konton to destroy the half-demon girls wielding the rainbow pearls.
Meanwhile, Towa is unable to wield her sword using her powers when Nikosen’s poison makes her unconscious and Setsuna realizes she has been feeling rather unwell.
Moroha is able to behead Nikosen but his head floats away leaving his headless body. Myoga informs Moroha that Towa is suffering from the effects of a New Moon like every half-demon.
Moroha uses a spiritual seal and seals off a cave to keep a now black haired Towa away from harm till daybreak.
Later, Setsuna brings the demon slayers to fight Nikosen together when she finds the sealed cave and sees her sister in her black hair form when Setsuna reveals the dream-eating butterfly must have eaten her human memories making her immune to New Moons.
Just as Nikosen tries to eat Setsuna, Towa slashes Nikosen’s hand and the powerful slash even breaks off a chunk of the cave revealing the shinning sun and Towa’s silver hair.
The episode comes to an end with Konton assessing the whole situation in secret while smiling in satisfaction knowing the sisters’ secrets.
