The Yakuza series developer, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, has recently announced that a special live stream for the Yakuza series to commemorate its 15th anniversary will broadcast on December 8 and will include announcements relating to the franchise’s future developments.
Of course, as it stands, the studio has not made it clear what these announcements will be like, but one may expect some form of DLC for Yakuza: Like a Dragon or perhaps a new mainline Yakuza game.

The only bummer is that the live stream will be in Japanese, so only those who know the language will be able to watch it while others, such as me, will have to wait for a dubbed version to come out.
Other than having announcements relating to the future of the franchise, the live stream will also include guest appearances from the game’s many artists, including Yakuza’s general director Toshihiro Nagoshi, Kiryu Kazuma’s actor Takaya Kuroda, Ichiban Kasuga/Akira Nishikiyama’s actor Kazuhiro Nakaya, Yakuza’s chief producer Masayoshi Yokoyama and more.
Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio also stated that the Japanese-speaking audience may directly ask questions to the guests. But to participate, they need to apply by November 26, 23:59 JST / 6:59 AM PT / 3:59 PM BST.
