Xbox Forza Motorsport is Reportedly Launching on October 10th

Forza Motorsport has been in the news for a while now. It’s high time the next entry in the fast-paced racing franchise was released since the last title came out almost six years ago. This is unusual since the gap between two consecutive Forza titles is usually just two years.

According to Exputer, Forza Motorsport will be launching exactly four months later i.e., on October 10th. This is in line with another rumor by an Xbox insider which implied that Turn 10 was targeting an October launch.

Forza Motorsport will be the most technically advanced racing game till date. The gameplay, car chases, and physical aspects of the game have been drastically improved as compared to Forza Motorsport 4 and Forza Motorsport 7.

Forza Motorsport will offer over 500 vehicles and 800 upgrades at launch. There will be 20 different track environments to race in, all with new layouts. The cars will have a realistic look, offering a variety under different lights.

Players can analyze car damage down to individual scratches. Forza Motorsport will feature real-time ray tracing. However, it is unclear whether it will only apply to reflections.

Forza Motorsport was first announced back at the Xbox Showcase in 2020. It has been quite some time since then so there are a lot of expectations riding on the next installment in one of Xbox’s most striking franchises ever.

There are some high-profile game releases lined up for this October. Beginning with Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Mirage, which launches on October 12th, fans will also get to enjoy Lords of the Fallen, Alan Wake II, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, and many more exciting titles. Hopefully, amidst all this competition, Forza Motorsport will be a treat to play, living up to its predecessors.
