WWE Crown Jewel is one of the recurring events produced by WWE that takes place in Saudi Arabia as a part of a 10-year partnership in support of Saudi Vision 2030.
This year marks the 5th edition of the event since its inaugural event in 2018. It will also be the first Saudi Arabian Premium Live Event of 2023.
WWE hasn’t made any official announcement about Crown Jewel yet, but there’s no doubt that they have plans to conduct it this year as well. Based on the previous editions, there are certain details that we can already predict.
WWE Crown Jewel 2023 will take place in Saudi Arabia and most likely in the months of October or November. It will be available only through pay-per-view or on the livestreaming services – Peacock and WWE Network.
1. Where will Crown Jewel 2023 take place?
Crown Jewel 2023 will take place in Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, just like all the previous years. The name “crown jewel” is itself a direct reference to the city.
The exact venue of the event has not been announced yet. Since the first 4 events all happened at different stadiums or arenas, it’s hard to tell which location will be next.
2. When will Crown Jewel 2023 happen?
The dates of the previous Crown Jewel events have all been between the last week of October and the first week of November. Hence, it’s likely that the 2023 event will also happen around the same time.
2020 was the only year during which the event was cancelled, due to the Covid-19 pandemic. So, unless the number of cases suddenly rises, the event should take place according to schedule.
3. Where to stream Crown Jewel 2023?
Crown Jewel 2023 will be broadcast live and you can watch it either through pay-per-view or on the livestreaming services Peacock and the WWE Network.
Pay-per-view will allow you to pay to watch only this event via private telecast. The OTT streaming platforms on the other hand will require you to take a monthly or yearly subscription, thus giving you access to all of their content.
4. What fights to expect during Crown Jewel 2023?
Crown Jewel 2023 will see last year’s champions defending their respective titles. The main event will be Roman Reigns defending the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship, while other titles will be included among the preliminary matches.
The other superstars we can definitely expect to see in action include Alexa Bliss and Asuka, defending the Women’s Tag Team Championship, The Usos, defending the Undisputed Tag Team Championship, and Bianca Belair, defending the Raw Women’s Championship.
The wrestlers’ respective opponents are yet to be announced, and so are the non-championship matches.
This is all the information we have for now. Since Crown Jewel 2023 will happen towards the end of the year, we’ll have to wait a little longer before we get another update.
Until then, you can catch your favorite wrestlers in other entertainment-packed WWE matches happening throughout the year.
