Episode 1 Recap
Episode 1 begins with Reito confessing his love for Erisa. Later, Erisa finds out that Reito has been diagnosed with cellar sclerosis. Though there is a treatment, it will take five years to complete.
Reito hesitates to let Erisa wait for him that long, and this upsets Erisa. Reito and his siblings go to the hospital later, where Reito is ready to set into cryostasis for his treatment.
Erisa enters and mentions that she will wait for him no matter what. Reito is put to sleep after he is satisfied with Erisa’s words.
Later, when he awakes, Reito sees a woman who looks like Erisa. Reito finds out that his treatment was a success, and he is in good condition. Mira Suou introduces herself to Reito and explains what happened to the world after Reito went into cryostasis.
Suou tells Reito the world has been affected by the Man Killer virus, which wiped away most of the male population. She also reveals that the United Women now control the world’s situation. With Reito and a few other males left, the organization has a plan to save humanity.
Reito, thinking this is a joke, runs out into the city and finds that only women are around. Suou tells Reito that he is now a valuable resource for humanity and needs to impregnate as many women as possible to save humankind.
Later Reito questions about alternative ways to repopulate but finds out that most were a dead end. Suou explains that the only way is to mate with a woman and make sure the baby born will be immune to the MK virus.
Reito finds out about his brother’s state when he meets his sister. In the process, Reito also finds out that Erisa is missing.
Later, Reito is interrupted by Suou, who wants to mate with him as he sleeps. Reito stops it and says that with the given situation, he cannot do such things.
Thinking about Erisa, Reito realizes he might be able to find her. Later, Suou shows a group of women ready to mate and willing to bear a child with Reito.
Reito protests that he isn’t some object to be used and asks Suou a favor. Reito now wants to find Erisa and asks for a month before accepting his fate.
A condition is put up by Suou stating after he attains his desire, he has to mate with one woman every day to save humankind.

World’s End Harem manga is authored by LINK and illustrated by Kotaro Shono. It was serialized in May 2016 on Shonen Jump+ and ended in June 2020. A second part titled World’s End Harem: After World began in May 2021 and ended on May 7, 2023.
The series has been collected into 18 volumes. Two spinoffs – Fantasia and Britannia Lumiére were also released in 2018 and 2020 respectively.
