Megane catches on pretty quick and judges it to be a diversion. Hyuse thinks so too, but then Megane thinks if there is more than meets the eye or not, it is after all Azuma they’re dealing with. Suddenly two of the beacons vanish from their readings.

Megane panics and decides to send his teammates to cover for Chikako. Hyuse refuses to be bossed around with illogical decisions, but actually, he’s just insecure about losing two points earlier.

Kuga decides he’ll be the one going to Chikako while Hyuse holds the fort, making it a two against one situation inside the mall.

As Hyuse sits around waiting for the Azuma squad to show themselves, Koarai is seen making a run for it. Hyuse chases after him, but Azuma seems to point a gun at him. Hyuse shoots in Azuma’s direction, but it turns out to be a clothing article.

Azuma was actually in a completely different location, and at that moment, he shot Hyuse, making him bailout.  The Azuma squad then chooses to bail out voluntarily, and the Tamakoma team becomes the survivor team.

Hyuse reveals why he didn’t use his viper trigger the way Megane had asked, and that was to keep a surprise weapon for the next match. Tamakoma-2 gets the most points for this match and acquires the third position overall.

About World Trigger

World Trigger, also known in short form as WorTri, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Daisuke Ashihara. It was initially serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from February 2013 to November 2018 and later transferred to Jump Square in December 2018.

A mysterious white-haired kid named Yūma Kuga gets transferred to the local school. Turns out, Kuga is actually a humanoid or ‘neighbor.’ In school, he becomes friends with another student, Osamu Mikumo, who is, in fact, an undercover C-class Border trainee. Mikumo becomes the perfect guide for Kuga to save him from being discovered by Border.
