Their communication problems result in the Mizukami squad completely smoking them. Their bailouts come as a surprise even to them.

Mizukami reveals that his strategy worked well because Suwa’s team was hungry for points. Suwa’s squad is traumatized by what they just encountered.

Their strategies weren’t great, but their main problem, as Megane realizes, was coordination. There is no time to sit and dwell on their mistakes, though.

Their match with Murakami’s squad is about to start, and Katori suggests they play this one like Mizukami. Megane tells everyone that a passive strategy won’t help them. They should be more assertive.

Katori badgers Megane for more ideas,  but there is no time to think up a strategy. Their next match with Murakami’s squad ends in defeat, with Kurauchi wearing down their defenses and the snipers from both teams taking each other out.

This third match is with Utagawa’s squad, where Kuga makes quick work of their team, and Suwa’s squad loses again. Suwa’s squad takes a loss for their fourth and fifth match as well.

Megane says they need to work on their communication and develop universal terms to coordinate better. He also asks Ui to tag the enemy team players before the match can start.

Just when they think they’ve made a breakthrough, Suwa informs them that they got a surprise assignment.
