If someone granted you a wish for free, what would you wish for? Keep in mind that the wishes granted for free are often the costliest, and Wonder Egg Priority is an example of just that.
Ai Ohto was handed a mysterious egg but her reality changes when she cracks it open. What springs out of the egg and what will she have to face?
Wonder Egg Priority’s official website has released the opening and ending theme videos of the anime series. The opening theme, “Song for Leaving the Nest,” is performed by the vocal unit, Anemonelia.
Anemonelia is a four-membered group consisting of the four main cast members of the movie: Kanata Aikawa, Tomori Kusunoki, Shuka Saito, and Neiru Aonuma.
The opening theme is simply soulful and pleasing to the ears. The video of a very peaceful everyday life of Ai accompanies the equally peaceful song.
The ending theme of the anime is “Life is Cider”, performed by Anemonelia.
The ending theme has a groovy and airy vibe to it, which will make you move your toes to the beat. The video shows snaps of the four main characters going on with their own lives and interacting with each other.
However, don’t let the opening and ending themes deceive you into thinking that it is a typical slice of life anime. Beneath the cute animation and themes, it hides a much darker concept.
Wonder Egg Priority is an original anime series by CloverWorks. It is licensed by Funimation for North America and the British Isles. It debuted on 13th January, and its 3rd episode will premiere on 27th January.
