2. WIND BREAKER Season 2 Episode 2 Recap

The second episode of WIND BREAKER season 2, titled “Conclusion” started with KEEL’s leader asking Kaji to join their side, as he believed that Kaji enjoyed beating people up and asserting dominance over them. He then went on to say that he found it weird that someone like Kaji, who loved violence, could go around using violence to protect people. Kaji found his spiel to be disgusting, so he stopped him partway and told him that he hated beating people and it never made him feel good, even once.

Promptly after this, their battle started, and the scene switched to Sakura’s side, where he flipped a switch and now seemed to have control over his battle. This wasn’t just for Sakura. The appearance of the second-year seniors seemed to have boosted everyone’s morale, as Sugishita, Taiga, Kiryuu, and others seemed to suddenly perform significantly better in their fights and eventually beat their opponents. Sugishita may have gone overboard and caused his opponent some permanent damage.

After some major fights had settled down, Suou came back after tending to Nirei and seemed pretty ticked off. He took revenge for Nirei and was about to go ballistic on him but was stopped by Sakura, who was coolheaded enough (thanks to Kaji). Meanwhile, Kaji seemed to be having a hard time fighting KEEL’s leader, Shingo, who came at him with a metal rod. After getting beat up a lot, the man told Kaji that it was Bofurin’s higher-ups who were too soft on Kaji and reduced his potential as a fighter.

He probably crossed a line by badmouthing Bofurin, as something in Kaji broke, and he rampaged. This was exactly what Shingo wanted, but he was clearly not strong enough to receive Kaji’s attacks. Nine blows in, and Shingo collapsed, so Kaji couldn’t keep his promise with Sakura. After the fight settled down, Nagato reunited with Anzai, and they had a touching reunion. Nagato apologised for being a horrible friend, and Anzai revealed how Nagato’s betrayal wasn’t enough for him to betray a friend.

3. What To Expect In Episode 3 of Wind Breaker Season 2?

Although the battle did end in Bofurin’s victory, Sakura is definitely not going to be happy with the results. He lost his cool and ended up dragging on a fight he could’ve won easily. He did a horrible job as a leader, and Kaji made this clear, too, which is why Sakura will be very sour in the upcoming episode.

KEEL's leader- Shingo

The fight between Kaji and Shingo made it clear that Shingo was definitely not KEEL’s leader. Kaji was definitely weak, but Shingo was certainly not strong or charismatic enough to have led a group as huge as KEEL. This may have made some members of Bofurin suspicious, so we may see them look into this in the upcoming episode.
