2. WIND BREAKER Season 2 Episode 1 Recap
Wind Breaker season 2 started out with Sakura and a gang of other first-year students heading out for a fight. According to one of his peers, Anzai, a group called KEEL had kidnapped his friend Nagato and beat him up to a pulp, and then asked him to show up to their base alone if he wanted to free his friend. He also warned the group by saying that KEEL was only known for their criminal acts and that they were cowards who would only gang up on their opponent with bats and pipes.
Sakura was enraged by the violence from KEEL’s side, so he decided to go to KEEL’s base with his allies and get Nagato back. On reaching KEEL’s base, the head of the group naturally did not oblige to Sakura’s demand, so an all-out battle started between KEEL and the first year led by Sakura. Unfortunately, Sakura came severely unprepared, as KEEL had an overwhelming number of members in their ranks, and Fuurin was in a disadvantageous position.

The battle starts with Sakura, Sugishita, Kiryuu, Taiga, and Suou defeating a lot of the KEEL members very quickly. However, they were soon enclosed by stronger opponents who didn’t go down easily. With the five of these powerhouses having their hands tied, the remaining members of Fuurin were getting beaten up bad by the other KEEL members. Nirei, being the burden that he is, hid behind Suou, who couldn’t fight to his potential as he was covering for Nirei.

Meanwhile, Anzai headed up to save his friend Nagato, but instead took a single blow from KEEL’s leader and passed out on the floor in a matter of seconds. The battle between KEEL and Fuurin progressively became worse to the point that Nirei, who was being ganged upon, was about to suffer a fatal injury if it were not for the second-year seniors from Fuurin who showed up on time. The second-year rep, Kaji, decided to complete the battle for his juniors, also with two of his peers.

When Sakura protested against Kaji fighting the leader, Kaji, in turn, punched Sakura and blamed him for letting his blood rush to his head. This caused him to lose rationality, and this prevented him from reaching out to his allies when they needed him. Kaji then promised to beat up KEEL’s leader for Sakura’s sake, too, and the two resumed their respective battles promptly.
3. What To Expect In Episode 2 of Wind Breaker Season 2?
The latest episode of Wind Breaker season 2 has been exactly the kind of episode that fans wanted to see, and it has the right amount of action too. Not many times do we see Sakura letting someone else take over his prey, and this makes it pretty good character development on his part, too. In the upcoming episode, we will likely get to see Sakura having a pretty one sided battle with his unnamed opponent.

On Kaji’s end, he can expect the fight to be a breeze for Kaji, and this makes sense as everyone in KEEL’s base froze when they saw Kaiji. As for the remaining fights, with Enomoto and the other second years looking out for the Fuurin first years, the battle between KEEL and Fuurin will likely turn out to be an outstanding success.
