In a press conference for Peaky Blinders season 6 with Press Associate, via Independent.ie, creator Steven Knight shared that he wouldn’t mind Tom Holland joining his Birmingham crime gang.
Knight invited Holland to audition for the Peaky Blinders feature film that is supposed to mark the show’s end. While season 6 is the last, the creator has the story strategically prepared and has long decided to tie all the loose ends in a movie.
The creator’s comment came after Holland shared in a LADBible interview that he had auditioned for a role in the series, but he was not selected. Knight replied,
It must have been quite a big role he was auditioning for, but if he wants to come back for the film, we’ll have him.

Funny enough, the show’s actor Finn Cole, who plays Michael Gray, revealed that he had auditioned for Spider-Man.
Holland catapulted to stardom with his first stint as MCU’s Spider-Man in 2017. After the third installment, Spider-Man: No Way Home broke the box office, the 25-year-old has undoubtedly become one of Hollywood’s most sought-after actors.
With Knight himself stating that the Spider-Man actor’s participation in a Peaky Blinders movie isn’t impossible – and for which he is most welcome to – it will offer the best-of-both-worlds for fans around the globe.
BBC’s Peaky Blinders, in its might, is one of the biggest series of all time. Ending the story with a movie was Knight’s plan all along, even before they had decided on season 6 being the last installment of the series.
The creator reportedly even shared that in case of potential spin-offs, he will give the duties and rights to other writers.
Peaky Blinders season 6 will greet viewers in a few hours after two long years of ending on a thrilling cliffhanger. With actress Helen McCrory’s passing away, the route the upcoming season would take to fill in the absence has also made fans curious.
Tune in to BBC One tonight, February 27, at 9 PM to catch the premiere of Peaky Blinders season 6.
