Venom: Let There Be Carnage is definitely back on track (and hopefully won’t be delayed again for the umpteenth time) as Sony Pictures has released four new character posters.
The posters were of Tom Hardy’s Eddie Brock/Venom, Woody Harrelson’s Cletus Kasady/Carnage, Naomie Harris’ Frances Barrison/Shriek Hardy, with the most surprising one being that of Anne Weying, teasing the return of She-Venom.
The official @VenomMovie Twitter account shared the posters for the upcoming Venom sequel. Michelle Williams’ poster shows a silhouette teasing She-Venom with the Tweet’s caption reading, ‘She’s back in black.’
After all, someone needed to kiss Eddie again in the sequel, right?
She-Venom appeared in the first film in a scene where Eddie Brock got separated from his symbiote. To return to the host body, Venom bonds with Anne and passes on to Eddie with a French kiss. How romantic!
(If you think about it hard enough, it’s basically Venom and Eddie making out, not Eddie and Anne.)
Williams had previously talked about the sequel in an interview with Yahoo and expressed her desire to want action sequences for She-Venom.
I’m such a fan of Andy’s, and I’m so inspired by what he’s been able to accomplish. He’s so gifted in such a specific way, and I’m very excited to learn from him and be around him.
I’m in… I hope I get equal time that way — I can say that!

Directed by Andy Serkis, Venom: Let There Be Carnage will be PG-13 to sell more movie tickets. A decision that left many fans disappointed as Carnage is supposed to be one of Marvel’s most gruesome villains.
The sequel picks up a year after the events of the first film as Eddie Brock struggles to adjust his life after bonding with the alien symbiote Venom.
Brock tries to get back into reporting by interviewing a serial killer Cletus Kasady, who becomes the host of symbiote Carnage and escapes prison after a failed execution.
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is set to hit the theatres on October 1, 2021.
About Venom: Let There Be Carnage
Venom: Let There Be Carnage is an upcoming American superhero film directed by Andy Serkis. A sequel to 2018’s Venom, it is based on the Marvel Character of the same name. Tom Hardy will be reprising his role as journalist Eddie Brock/ Venom and newcomer Woody Harrelson will play psychotic serial killer Cletus Kasady/ Carnage, in the second installment. Further cast includes Michelle Williams, Reid Scott, and Naomie Harris.
Venom ended with the symbiote destroying Carlton Drake, the symbiote Riot, and the Life Foundation’s spaceship. Thus the world was saved. In a mid-credits scene, Brock was invited to interview incarcerated serial killer Cletus Kasady, who promised “carnage” when he escaped. This was Woody Harrelson’s Carnage reference.
Now, the trailer for Venom: Let There Be Carnage teased the appearance of another symbiote Toxin through his host, Patrick Mulligan.
