Will Season 2 of Solo Leveling Fix Everything That Went Wrong in Season 1?

Season 1 of Solo Leveling had stellar voice acting and high-quality animation, but it was disappointing. And the reason is quite obvious. The jump of scenes from each episode made the series feel rushed.

However, in a recent interview with the Solo Leveling producer, more about season 2 was revealed, and surprisingly, it hyped up fans even more.

Season 1 of Solo Leveling focused more on Sung Jinwoo’s development. The producer revealed that season 2 will continue the previous season’s narrative. But this time, the spotlight will be more on the side characters and their backstory, giving fans an overall look at the Solo Leveling world.

If that’s the case, we might see more about Cha Hae-in, Hwang Dongsoo, Woo-Jinchul, and Yoo Jinho. But what’s truly intriguing is the possibility of learning more about Sung Jinwoo’s mother and her illness. As we saw in Season 1, Sung became a hunter for her treatment and his sister’s education, and season 2 might shed more light on this crucial aspect of the story.

Oh well! How can we forget the part in episode 5 where he had to kill Hwang Dongsuk and his party? Given that, we saw how his younger brother was planning to return to Japan from the U.S. to kill Sung.

Overall, season 2 will be on another level, with greater animation quality, as the plot revolves more around the side characters, adding to the overall narrative of the story. Still, it’s unknown how far they plan to adapt from the manwha and if season 2 will stay true to it.
