Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo and Shoto Todoroki. These are the names of a few of the most influential students at UA academy who are only in their first year.
Yet, in every other episode, the three manage to surprise us with their overwhelming intelligence and strength.
After watching the latest episodes of the new season, I am 100% sure that these three are immensely potential and could very well “own” the Hero Billboard Rankings.
However, there are a multitude of talented students at UA high. From newcomer Hitoshi Shinso to class 1B’s Itsuka Kendo.
Will Midoriya, Bakugo, and Shoto become UA’s next big three? And how high will they rank upon the Japanese Hero Ranks? Let’s take a look at all the possibilities together.
Izuku Midoriya, Katsuki Bakugo, and Shoto Todoroki will become UA High’s next Big Three by succeeding Mirio, Nejire and Amajiki.
They’re not only strong but quite versatility and battle-intelligent with unrivalled attacks. All three have shown extreme growth at UA High as well.
How will they become the next Big Three?
It’s actually a bit harder to explain “how” so let’s talk about the current Big Three first.
1. Current Big Three
Nejire Hado, Mirio Togata, and Tamaki Amajaki are the current Big three of UA High. Despite their strange personalities and otherwise low ranking in the previous UA Sports Festival, they became UA’s most potent three students.
Seeing as how Nejire, Amajiki and Mirio are some of the top contendors of the upcoming hero rankings, strength, experience and near-perfect quirk usage are three of the many qualities of the Big Three.
2. What makes the Big Three the Big Three?
The big three each possess extremely versatile quirks and abilities that are extremely powerful during combat.
The three worked hard to master their abilities to become the most powerful students in UA and maybe even Japan. As far as we know, the three have many potentials when it comes to their future as pro heroes.
The extent of their strength is seen when Mirio single-handedly defeated the entirety of Class A, including Izuku, Shoto, and Bakugo, without breaking a sweat.
3. Do Midoriya, Bakugo, and Todoroki have what it takes to become the Big Three?
After hearing about what it takes to be a part of the big three, we’re all wondering whether our three contenders from class 1A have what it takes.
Of course, they do. But, moreover, the three are more than capable of applying what they have learned in real-life situations.
The three have unique quirks that allow them to match up to any opponent they face—Bakugou with his explosions, Midoriya with one for all, and Shoto with his fire and ice.
The three will also definitely become top pro heroes in Japan. Quite possible, becoming the top three heroes in the country and maybe even the world.
Who would be the strongest among them?
The strongest hero within the trio most definitely will be Izuku Midoriya.
Midoriya has only had his quirk for around a year. As a result, he’s received far less time than the others to gain control over his quirk and polish his abilities.
Even still, he can accomplish more than his classmates in a short period and rise to the top.
In addition to this, we found out recently that one for all can store the quirks of its past users.
This opens up endless possibilities for Midoriya as he may now be able to use the quirks of his predecessors.
Other Contenders for The Big Three?
Regardless of how powerful the three musketeers may seem, they’re spots as the big three aren’t confirmed just yet.
Even though they shine the brightest, there may be others who can overtake them.
1. Tokoyami
Fumikage Tokoyami has been a fan favorite since day one. His emitter-type quirk, dark shadow, allows him to manifest an intelligent shadow monster that can materialize and operate freely.
Coupled with the mentorship he receives from number 2 hero Hawks, Tokoyami is a serious contender for the next Big Three.
2. Shinso
Hitoshi Shinso is genuinely a unique character. I was surprised to see him return to the series in season 5, but I’m thrilled he did.
Shinso can brainwash his opponent, making them forcibly obey his commands if they respond to him verbally.
We’ve already seen how dangerous he can be during the UA sports festival and, more recently, in the joint class training exercises.
With the guidance of Eraser Head, Shinso can, in reality, become one of the big three.
