Does Goblin Slayer have a happy ending?

Goblin Slayers Season 2 reignited the fandom flame, the Goblin Slayer is back again and will undergo significant character development.

Since the manga and the light novel are still ongoing, it’s hard to say when the story will end, However, Goblin Slayer will most likely end on a positive note. Well, that’s what we would all love to see.

1. Will Goblin Slayer Have a Happy Ending?

Goblin Slayer will have a happy ending after countless quests and lessons learned by the crew. They will still have a long way to go, but season 2 shows quite a bit of growth in all characters.

Goblin Slayer has been slaying the goblins for a while now, and he is continuously growing as a person and applying the skills he has learned. For example, like in season 2, he used the trick he learned in Water Town to kill the troll.

After his elder sister’s death, his trajectory in life changed, and he became a monster or goblin himself, slaying all the goblins.

However, upon meeting the priestess and forming a party, he becomes more human again and has a lot of suppressed trauma, which we see in season 2 as he breaks down emotionally at the end of the second episode.

He sees himself in the Wizard Boy and feels guilty for creating another version of him.

However, there’s a silver lining: the Goblin Slayer is there to guide the boy and help him become a better version.

This will be the happy ending we are all looking forward to, the Goblin Slayer will overcome his trauma by going on various quests with his party and help everyone grow.

As such, he might even grow more as a person and end up with someone, as of now, he doesn’t have any love interests, but that could change in the future.

There is a ray of hope as even the know-it-all archetype, the rookie Wizard Boy, underwent some change after jumping head-first into the trap set by goblins and the troll in episode 2.

He realized his mistake and even apologized to the Priestess, he had severely underestimated.

The priestess still has a long way to go as she faltered during the quest to the mausoleum.

However, she has done well in facing her emotional turmoil and is ready to help people with her spells.
