Will Asta and Yuno Fight? Will This Fight Ruin Their Relationship?

Black Clover anime is coming to an end on March 30, but the good news is the manga will continue. The creators chose the perfect moment to keep the fans engrossed.

The manga development is stopped at a dramatic point, and the anticipation for future events is killing us all. What will happen if the Dark Triad is subjugated and the Tree of Qluifoth plan stopped?

Things might go back to how they were before, or everything might change drastically. Yuno and Asta’s quest to become the Wizard King will come into action.

Yuno and Asta will have to fight in the far future for the throne of the Wizard King. Ever since their childhood, they are rivals because both of them dream of becoming the Wizard king. 

The fight is inevitable, but the question remains will their rivalry turn into animosity? There are two scenarios in which they might battle with each other.

1. For the Throne of Wizard King

Black Clover’s plotline was centered around two orphan children working hard to be at the Wizard king’s top position. The Wizard King is someone who binds the entire Clover Kingdom together. It is a position of prestige and responsibility.

Asta, a magicless boy, has come a long way. From being this helpless creature to being the key to stop the devils, he has worked hard! It was not an easy step; Asta painstakingly surpassed his limits.

Even though he is devil possessed, Asta has not lost himself.  He has come closer to his set goal.

As for Yuno, he is a genius. His naturally flowing abundant mana reserves gave him the pathway to becoming a Magic Knight.

The partnership of the great spirit Sylph and his secret identity as the Spade Kingdom’s prince is a double bonus. Although Gods have blessed him, he has trained earnestly to refine and amplify his skills.

Both of them stand at an equal point and have the capability to match each other. Asta’s pact with the devil has finally been established.

Now he can battle with Yuno without losing his face. They compliment each other’s faults, Asta has an advantage in close combat fights, whereas Yuno can tackle battles from a distance.

When the real-time for the fight arrives, it will surely be exhilarating! However, since Asta is our protagonist, it is unlikely that Yuno will become the Wizard King. We have evidence why Asta is stronger than Yuno, and hence he might win this fight. 

2. If Yuno and Asta Become Enemies

Naruto: Shippuden has greatly influenced Tabata. Will Black Clover also take this route of friends turned into enemies? Sasuke had his reasons, and Yuno is traveling down the same hole of revenge.

Yuno’s change in his personality is evident after Zenon’s attack. He was ready to kill anyone who comes in between his revenge. There are chances Yuno might turn into an Anti-hero.

If Yuno succeeds in taking his revenge, he can change his ways from goody two shoes to ‘I will annihilate all evil.’ Asta will retaliate since it would clash with his morals as he is repulsed with the idea of gaining something with sinister means.

Asta will do anything to bring his Yuno back to his original self, even if it would mean defeating Yuno.

Whatever future Tabata writes, Yuno and Asta will always be each other’s no. 1 rival and supporter.

3. About Black Clover

Black Clover is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Yūki Tabata. It has been serialized in Shueisha’s Weekly Shōnen Jump magazine since February 16, 2015.

The story centers around Asta, a young boy seemingly born without any magic power, something that is unknown in the world he lives in; and his foster brother Yuno who received the rare four-leaf grimoire and has more magic power than most people! With his fellow mages from the Black Bulls, Asta plans to become the next Wizard King.
