Why Are Inter Milan and AC Milan Missing From EA FC 25? Explained

Inter Milan and AC Milan are two legendary Italian clubs known to every football fanatic around the world. Featuring talented players like Christian Pulisic, Álvaro Morata, Kristjan Asllani, Benjamin Pavard and many more, these teams are no stranger to club leagues. Sadly, you won’t find it in EA FC 25.

Why is Inter and AC Milan missing from EA FC 25?

The reason why Inter and AC Milan are missing from EA FC 25 is because of their exclusivity deals with Konami. These teams will only feature in Konami’s eFootball, previously known as “PES”.

Media rights in Italian football are different from the rest of the world. Teams can only exclusively appear in any one franchise. Apart from Inter and AC Milan, you also won’t find Atalanta and Lazio under Serie A teams.

However, this exclusivity deal only applies to the clubs and not its players. So, you can very well play with the original players.

Having a club absent from the game is no stranger to the franchise. Earlier editions of EA FC did not feature Napoli and Juventus. 

How to play with Inter and AC Milan in EA FC 25?

Although you won’t exactly spot Inter and AC Milan in EA FC 25, you can technically still play with them. The only catch is that the teams now go by different names, even their kits and stadiums have been tweaked. 

Here are the alternate names for the missing Serie A clubs:

Fans of these clubs will certainly miss out on the experience. Even the iconic San Siro stadium is missing from the game. While it doesn’t make much of a difference other than a name change, it is slightly off putting to see a fake name in the leaderboard.
