Jameela Jamil has revealed her new hair for Disney+’s She-Hulk, while set photos of Mark Ruffalo with a stunt double wearing a similar wig have also surfaced online.
Fans were quick to connect the two, and it looks like we might get a Hulk vs. Tatiana fight in the upcoming MCU series.
Jamil, who’ll be playing a villain who goes by the name of Tatiana, posted a picture of herself in orange dyed hair/wig with makeup on. The hair color is reminiscent of the early comic style that often consisted of vibrant superhero costumes.
Charles Villanueva (@cfsvillanueva) made the connection about a possible Hulk vs. Tatiana fight and noted that Tatiana’s wig was similar to the stunt double Mark Ruffalo posed with in the recently surfaced set photos.
Tatiana, alias Mary MacPherran, first debuted in 1984 as part of the Secret Wars crossover comics event. Doctor Doom offered her superpowers in exchange for being recruited into his army of supervillains. She possesses superstrength, superhuman stamina, and high resistance to physical injury.
While plot details are scarce, in the comics, Tatiana is a long-time rival of She-Hulk, aka Jennifer Walters, who is Bruce Banner’s cousin. So Banner might decide to lend his cousin a helping hand if there are more villains to fight.
As previous rumors have stated, Hulk’s son Skaar is also set to appear in the series. With the Abomination returning for the first time since ‘The Incredible Hulk,’ it seems like the Hulk family will have their hands full fighting supervillain(s).
Created by head writer Jessica Gao, Kat Coiro will lead the directing team with Anu Valia on board for some episodes.
Cast members joining Jamil include Tatiana Maslany, Mark Ruffalo, Tim Roth, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Ginger Gongaza, and Josh Segarra.
She-Hulk will consist of ten episodes and debut sometime in 2022.
