Whom Does Rudeus Marry By The End of Mushoku Tensei?

When people think of Mushoku Tensei, many things come to mind: the amazing animation, unique world-building and story, and the perverted main character, Rudeus. Ever since the beginning of the anime, we’ve seen Rudeus make the most repulsive faces, even as a baby. One could also say this is what makes Mushooku Tensei interesting in its own way.

There has never been a lack of females around Rudeus since the start. Since Rudeus has been interested in most females round him, naturally, the question would arise: whom does he get together with? In this article, we’ll find out who Rudeus marries by the end of the series.

Who is Rudeus Greyrat?

Rudeus Greyrat is the main character of Mushoku Tensei, who is actually a 34-year-old shut-in who got reincarnated into the body of an infant in another world.

Blessed with good looks, a loving family, several girls around him, and an innate talent for magic, Rudeus decided to redeem himself in the new world and live his life to the fullest.

Sylphiette- The First Wife

Sylphiette, or Sylphy, is a girl from his hometown that Rudeus became friends with at the age of five. He initially mistook her for a boy due to her boyish appearance; however, they quickly became friends, and Sylphy got attached to Rudeus real quick. This was probably one of the most wholesome relationships Rudeus made throughout the anime.

Rudeus often taught Sylphy magic since she, too, had a talent for it. He wanted to grow up and join the Ranoa Magic University with Sylphy; however, her family couldn’t afford the fees.

When he asked his father if he would be able to provide for her, his father sent him away to work for a relative. This was so that he could earn for himself and develop a sense of independence, but Paul also wanted to separate the two for a while to prevent any unhealthy attachments from being formed.

The unexpected teleport incident delayed Sylphy and Rudeus’ reunion; however, several years later, Rudeus reunited with Sylphy at Ranoa Magic Academy, where Sylphy was a senior who went by the name of Fitz.

Rudeus fell in love with Sylphy at Ranoa. Sylphy had always been in love with Rudeus since the beginning and had been waiting for him for years. The two bought a house in that town and got married. Later, they even had a child.

Roxy Migurdia- The Second Wife

Roxy was initially introduced in Mushoku Tensei as Rudeus’ magic teacher when he was three years old. She is a Water King Class Magician and a great mage. She had a huge influence on Rudeus as a child, and he held her in great respect.

Besides the respect, Roxy was also one of the first people Rudeus sexualized during his childhood. He even stole her underwear and worshipped it as a sacred artifact. He even made realistic sculptures of Roxy using magic.

After Roxy had taught Rudeus everything she knew, she left their house, and both only reunited several years after the teleport incident: after Rudeus’ marriage with Sylphy.

This reunion took place under special circumstances where Rudeus was travelling with his father’s party in order to save his mother from a Labyrinth. Roxy had been lost in the same labyrinth for several days, and Rudeus managed to find and save her from there. This sparked her feelings for Rudeus.

In this very mission, they managed to rescue Zenith; however, it was at the cost of Paul’s life. While Rudeus was having a hard time processing this loss, Roxy helped him to cope with the pain, as a result of which Rudeus fell in love with her.

Rudeus returned home along with Roxy and asked his pregnant wife, Sylphy if he could marry Roxy as well. At this point, Sylphy said she expected as much from Rudeus and that she never believed that he’d tie himself down to a single woman. After Sylphy gave birth, Rudeus took Roxy in as his second wife.

Eris Boreas Greyrat- The Third Wife

Eris Boreas Greyrat is Rudeus’ second cousin, to whose home Paul sent him to work. There, he taught Eris math and magic, and he was, in turn, taught swordsmanship by Ghislaine.

Eris is a short-tempered and pampered who is quick to get mad at people for mundane reasons. During the teleport incident, Eris and Rudeus were transported to the demon continent, where they traveled along with a Superd man, who promised to get them home.

They spent a lot of time together traveling through the Demon Continent while getting trained by the Superd, Ruijerd. Here, Eris rapidly got stronger with her sword technique.

When Rudeus stumbled into Orsted and was on the verge of death, Eris was reminded of how weak she actually was and realized that in any event where Rudeus’ life was in danger, she wouldn’t be able to do anything. This feeling ate on her constantly as she thought she’d never be on equal footing with Rudeus if she stayed weak.

Hence, when Eris and Rudeus reached the end of their trip, they hooked up on their last night, after which Eris left Rudeus with nothing more than a letter, the chopped locks of her hair, and crippling depression.

Eris’ hunger for strength pulled her up till she reached the Sword King title. She perfected the Sword God Style and became strong enough to be recognized as a warrior.

Five years after their separation, Rudeus and Eris reunited and fought Orsted, a battle in which Eris actually managed to chop Orsted’s arm off. After this, Rudeus took Eris in as his third wife. She also joined Rudeus on most of his adventures since he lacked in skill of the sword.
