In Episode 3, Jennifer Walters spoke to the viewers during a fourth-wall break, stating the show was about She-Hulk and is not a “cameo every week” kind of show.
The green-skinned superhero then made conditional changes to her statement, adding Bruce Banner, Emil Blonsky, and Wong to the regular cameo list. But did Episode 4 just reveal Daredevil’s cameo?
Episode 4 of She-Hulk: Attorney at Law premiered on Disney+ this Wednesday, where Jennifer tackles living with a dual identity at work and in her love life. Jennifer has always been a workaholic, and it certainly doesn’t help when it comes to dating in the 30s.
But Jennifer finds it hard to even score one decent date as herself, so taking Nikki’s advice, she turns green and creates a dating profile for the She-Hulk. Surely enough, matches start pouring in, but the demoralizing hit stings even worse when her dates are only interested in her superhero persona and the thrill that comes with it.
And as if her dating life were not complicated enough, Wong approaches her with yet another wonky superhuman case. Donny Blaze, a rejected Sorcerer of the Mystic arts, uses his sling ring to perform “cheap tricks,” infuriating the Sorcerer Supreme.
The case hits a snag, but Donny Blaze ruins his chances of winning the case when Blaze unleashes a horde of flying demons at one of his shows. She-Hulk and Wong team up and manage to send all the demons back to their dimension and seal Blaze’s case.
But the double victory comes to a disruptive stop when Titania sues Jennifer based on “misuse of trademark” for using the She-Hulk title. Episode 5 thus will see the return of the other inhumanly strong woman, but Wong was it when it came to Episode 4 cameos.
The Devil of Hell’s Kitchen did not make his cameo in the fourth episode, but fans are hoping to see the blind vigilante lawyer soon in the upcoming episodes. Who knows, maybe Jennifer won’t be representing herself but taking the help of the other MCU lawyer who defends superhumans!
She-Hulk Attorney at Law will return with Episode 5 of the nine-part series on September 15, 2022.
