Catherine Louise Sagal, an American actress and Singer, has been cast for Dr. Kureha, the genius doctor of Drum Island. She is mainly referred to as a ‘witch’ and is also the adoptive mother of Tony Tony Chopper.
Fans have warmly taken to her position as it has been a while since they have seen the actress. They are excited to see her making Dr. Kureha come to life. Katey is known for playing Peggy Bundy, an untamed and bold parent in the Fix series.
As Kureha is a bit of a brute but is a well-meaning character, there is a need for a versatile actress who can portray that range well. So, Katey will be a perfect fit for Kureha.
Mark Harelik as Dr. Hiriluk
Besides the similar-sounding last names, a very good coincidence, Mark Harelik will make a great quack and eccentric doctor. Despite his past, he is very compassionate, as he did not think twice before helping Tony Tony Chopper.
Mark Harelik is an American Actor and playwright known for playing roles like God in Preacher and Dr. Eric Gablehauserr in The Big Bang Theory. He had also won several Drama Logue Awards for his performances.
Fans are happy to have such a big-name playing Dr. Hiriluk. They are looking forward to him portraying the nuances of the character as well as his unforgettable last speech.
Sendhil Ramamurthy as Nefertari Cobra
Here comes the reveal for which One Piece fans have eagerly awaited. Sendhil Ramamurthy is all set to play the 12th King of Arabasta Kingdom, Nefertari Cobra. Sendhil Ramamurthy is an American Actor of Indian Origin who is known for the role of Mohinder Suresh in Heroes and Jai Wilcox in Covert Affairs.
He will be an excellent actor to portray the strong and kind leader of Arabasta. He has years of experience in television, theaters, and films.
Fans are quite dissatisfied with the choice of actor, especially his origin. They feel an Egyptian actor should have been cast as this was the perfect opportunity for MENA (Middle East and North African region) representation in anime series.
Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday
Charithra’s name has been creating buzz for the role of Nefertari Vivi, also known as Miss Wednesday, and now it is finally announced. She is popularly known for playing Edwina Sharma in Netflix’s acclaimed series Bridgerton Season 2.
Charithra has been performing from a young age and many people are already familiar with her phenomenal acting. Seeing her performing a multifaceted personality such as Miss Wednesday will be interesting.

Ace Live-Action Casting Leaked!?
A leak regarding the live-action casting of the sworn brother of Luffy and Sabo and one of the most popular One-Piece characters, Portgas D. Ace, has been going viral. Please note that the official announcement is yet to be made so it may be prone to changes.
It is rumored that the American actor and singer Emery Kelly has been eyed for the role of Ace. He is in the band Forever In Your Mind and is popularly known for playing Lucas Mendoza in the Netflix live-action series Alexa and Katie.
The leak is made based on various hints, such as him following Iñaki Godoy, Luffy’s live-action actors, and Matt Owens, the series Executive Producer on Instagram. He also sports an Ace profile pic on his Instagram handle and even posted about him.
One Piece Live-Action Other Cast
The live-action casting for some of the other characters from the One Piece Season 2, which is expected to release in 2025, has been announced on the Netflix series official account previously.
