6Siddharth Bachchan
Being one of the five national-level hunters, Siddarth had a lot of powerful skills in his arsenal. He was ranked 4th in the world and was the strongest hunter in India. His skills included Spiritual Body Manifestation and Ruler’s Authority, which allowed him to manipulate objects using telekinesis. He was described as extremely self-righteous, ambitious, and had a huge Saviour complex.
Although his real power levels and appearance are shrouded in ambiguity as it wasn’t revealed in the webtoon, he earned his spot among the top five National Level hunters and was recognized by many both inside and outside his country. But as he spiraled into darkness because of his thirst for power, it ultimately led to his death.
5Sung Il-Hwan
For anyone who’s confused, this man is Sung Jinwoo’s father, and he was never declared to be a national-level hunter. This was probably because he disappeared before national-level hunters started to be. He, however, still deserves a spot on this list, as his accomplishments are nothing short of extraordinary.
Sung Il-Hwan is the vessel of a Ruler, and simply because of this, he possesses inhumane strength, which allowed him to fight the Frost Monarch, Sillad, without losing his life. In terms of raw power, he may have been ranked the strongest after his Sung Jinwoo if it weren’t for his body that couldn’t withstand the power of a Ruler.
4Christopher Reed
Being one of the two strongest hunters in America, he was ranked 3rd in the world. His Spiritual Body Manifestation ability allows him to transform into a humanoid with one eye and flaming orange hair. His flames were so powerful it took 14 S-rank hunters to completely extinguish them. Another one of his abilities is Ruler’s Authority, which gives him telekinetic powers.
As someone who took pride in his powers, he clawed his way up to the top five National Level hunters. Although the vision of his impending doom was revealed to him, and he was cautious, he succumbed to his demise in an unexpected and tragic battle against three Monarchs. Regardless, he was a very powerful hunter in his prime.
3Liu Zhigang
Being the strongest hunter in China and ranking 2nd in the world, Liu Zhigang fought his way to the top five National level hunters with sheer will power and his hunger for battle. His repository of vast and powerful abilities allowed him to reign supreme in all of Asia until he was surpassed by Sung Jinwoo. Although he might come off as rather brash and impolite, he respects those who are stronger than him, though that is pretty rare.
His elite swordsmanship and speed make him a formidable foe or a very dependable ally, depending on the circumstances, and his other attacks include the Energy Slash Attack, Ruler’s Authority, and spiritual Body Manifestation. As the top hunter in China, he surely is a force to be reckoned with.
2Thomas Andre
Thomas Andre is the strongest hunter in America and is officially the strongest hunter in the world. He would’ve topped this list if Jinwoo didn’t exist. Andre has a massive body, with long blonde hair and an aggressive personality. Before being a hunter, he lived a tough life as he was born to a poor European immigrant family, and spent his childhood in a hostile environment. Later, he became a brawler and quickly took control of his life.
Several years later, he had an awakening, and since he was already really powerful before his awakening, he excelled at being a hunter. He, too, is the vessel of a Ruler and possesses powers very similar to Sung Il-Hwan. With immense strength, speed, durability, and intellect, he rose in the ranks to reach his current position.
1Sung Jinwoo
This is a man that hopefully needs no introduction to anyone. Although Jinwoo was never declared to be a national-level hunter at all, it’s pretty obvious that he’s on a different level compared to the other members on this list. This is applicable only in the later parts of the Manhwa, but it still wouldn’t be an understatement to say that Jinwoo’s power compares to that of a national-level hunter in the anime.
Jinwoo had a pretty one-sided battle with Thomas Andre in the Solo Leveling manhwa, and Andre stood no chance against him. This, along with his innumerable amount of skills and powers, is enough for him to be the strongest hunter, or rather- the strongest being in Solo Leveling.
