God of War Ragnarok provides players with the opportunity of exploring all nine realms which were previously inaccessible in the first game. New realms mean new enemies, new puzzles, as well as new materials to craft items with.

To find more tombs and chests, you should explore every corner of all nine realms. Chances are, Dwarven Steel is hidden in the most unremarkable and secondary locations.
Treasure Maps
After clearing the Tower of Light, Tyr will prompt you to search The Barrens. While searching the area, you’ll come across the Vulture’s Gold Treasure Map, which will lead you to Dwarven Steel and various other loot.
This is the first time in the game where you can obtain Dwarven Steel.
Treasure Maps will provide you with incredibly valuable resources as well as Dwarven Steel. Solve every Treasure Map to increase your chances of obtaining Dwarven Steel in the game.
Purchase Dwarven Steel with Hacksilver
While progressing through the main story, completing the mission ‘Creatures of Prophecy’ will give you access to purchase Dwarven Steel for 2500 Hacksilver at the Huldra Brothers’ Forge. Head on back to Brok or Sindri’s shop to buy the resource in any amount.
For now, these are the only methods to obtain Dwarven Steel. Sure, it’s a rare resource, but not one hard to find. With effort and luck, players will get access to all the Dwarven Steel they need in order to upgrade themselves.
