As players progress through Assassin’s Creed Mirage and explore the gorgeous and lively streets of 9th-century Baghdad, they’re bound to come across cryptic puzzles known as Enigmas. Solving these puzzles will lead to cosmetic rewards like dyes or talismans and there are a total of 12 of them.
They’re divided into two parts. First, you’ll need to find the Enigma puzzle clue that gives you the location of the treasure, and then you’ll need to actually find a treasure. The clue that you’ll find will either be a drawing of some sort or some kind of message, hunting at the treasure location.
All Enigma Puzzle locations and solutions in Assassin’s Creed Mirage are:

Finding all these puzzle clues and solutions can be a bit of a chore since they’re scattered throughout Baghdad, but the unique dyes and talismans prove the search to be more than worth it. With that out of the way, let’s get into the details.
1. Abbasiyah Enigma Puzzles
1. Delight By the Dome
Location: The Enigma clue is located at the Mosque Viewpoint in the suburb of Kahtabah, and the mosque itself will be white and blue. At the northern part of the Mosque, go up the stairs to find some archways, and under the left one will be some shelves where the Enigma clue will be located.
Clue: The Enigma clue is a picture depicting the Dome of the Ass (as in donkey, not the other thing that you might be thinking of).
Solution: The Dome of the Ass is located in the southernmost part of Abbasiyah. At the Northwest part of the Dome’s gardens, you’ll come across a pool of water in which the treasure will be located.
Reward: Mysterious Talisman
2. A Challenge
Location: The Enigma clue is located southeast of the House of Wisdom in the Yasiriyah district. You’ll notice a large tree around here, southeast of which is a wooden balcony up a building. Climb up to find the Enigma clue.
Clue: The Enigma scroll contains a riddle that hints at the treasure being in a water mill building.
Solution: Head to the Observatory Viewpoint in the Yasiriyah district, to the east of which three water mill wheels will be visible on the map. Go to the one nearest to the Observatory. There’ll be a barred window here, which you can destroy. Enter the building, go to the ground floor, and you’ll find the treasure there.

3. The Gift
Location: This Enigma is located to the southeast of Four Markets Gate, in the Yasiriyah district. Here, using Enkidu, you’ll notice a large L-shaped pergola structure filled with vines and vegetation. The Enigma will be there.
Clue: The gate mentioned in the clue is not the Four Markets Gate; it’s another one with a market nearby. It also hints at a river that flows from East to West.
Solution: The clue refers to the Pomegranate Gate on the southern border of the Karkh region. Plus, it also has a market outside, as the clue implied. Just North of it will be a river that flows from East to West, and you’ll need to follow it West.
You’ll come across a wooden bridge with guards on it outside the city. The treasure will be located in the grass on the southern bank of the river.

2. Harbiyah Enigma Puzzles
1. Find What I Stole!
Location: The Enigma is located in the Shari’ district of the region, southwest of the Qutrabbul Gate. Head to the south of this district and follow the river Northwest. On the northern bank of the river, you’ll find a little shelter in the corner behind some trees, inside which is the treasure.
Clue: The clue is a message which implies that the treasure is located around the Soap Boiler’s district under some “colorful fabrics”.
Solution: The clue does refer to the Soap Boiler’s district, but it’s actually talking about the soap market stalls nearby on the Southwest side and not the main complex where they make the soap.
In this area, you’ll notice two large red and blue awnings above a wooden gazebo, near to the gate leading South into Abbasiya. The treasure will be inside this gazebo.

2. Left Behind
Location: The Enigma is located in the Shari’ district of the region, near a landmark called the Metal Factory. The clue will be inside a building that has a slope beside it, just south of the Factory.
Climb up this building, and you’ll notice a collapsible shelf blocking a window. Tear it down, enter through the window, and you’ll find the Enigma on the ground, lying next to a corpse.
Clue: The clue is a drawing of a village with a red lion at the bottom right, marked with an ‘X’. It refers to an area in the Abandoned Village.
Solution: The treasure is located in an area in Abandoned Village at the westernmost edge of the map, south of Caravanserai and west of Abbasiyah.
Here, head to the southernmost point of the coast, and you’ll come across an L-shaped dock where you’ll find the treasure lying in front of hanging fish placed outside some huts.

3. A Holy Hoard
Location: The Enigma is located in the southern corner of the Khuld district in this region. In the corner, you’ll notice a building with two windows below and two above and a small platform in the middle of them.
Go inside the building, and you’ll find the Enigma on a shelf in the wall, placed between two ornaments.
Clue: The clue is a drawing which depicts a bunch of buildings with a cross on one of them, implying it’s a religious one. On the top left corner, there’s a tree with a red X and a wiggly arrow at the base of it, hinting at the treasure location.
Solution: The treasure is located around the Nestorian Monastery in the Zubaydiyah district. You’ll come across a tree close to the riverbank in the northeastern part of the Monastery. The treasure will be at its base between two boats.

3. Karkh Enigma Puzzles
1. Solve This Problem Quickly For Me
Solution: This Enigma is located at the Officer’s Club building in Karkh, which is a restricted area, so you might want to tread carefully. The clue will be located at the northern corner of the building, on a bench under a pergola.
A guard will be keeping watch, so you’ll need to grab it quickly. You don’t need to kill the guard, but if you want to increase your chances of not getting spotted, then be my guest.
Clue: The clue is a message that tells us about how some merchants refused to pay their taxes. The opening line gives you the location of the treasure, which is in a village Northwest of Jarjaraya in the Wilderness.
Solution: The treasure is located in Jarjaraya. Northwest of it is a burnt village which isn’t very hard to spot especially with Enkidu. You’ll find the treasure behind a building with a tower.

4. Round City Enigma Puzzles
1. Just Rewards
Location: This Enigma is located inside a restricted area just above the Basra Gate. Climb up the building using some handholds, and you’ll find your clue on a desk in the outdoor office.
Clue: The clue contains a drawing that depicts a building with flags on top of it and some guards indicating that it’s a restricted area. There’s also a red “X” where the guards are training, which is the location of the treasure.
Solution: The treasure is located inside the Shurta Headquarters, a restricted area located to the north of the Basra Gate. Around the southern side of the building, you’ll find an archway into the workshop area where the treasure will be kept.

2. A Gift For You
Location: This Enigma is located in the Residential District of the city, inside a building. Follow the road to the Palace of the Green Dome, and you’ll come across a Historical Site building on the northeast side.
To get into the building, first climb up the building and onto the balcony. You’ll notice a window that you can break using your Throwing Knife. Do that, enter through the window, and you’ll find the clue scroll inside.
Clue: The clue is a riddle, telling you to find a fountain “in the west of the square” which indicates the treasure being in a fountain.
Solution: The treasure is located at the Mazalim Courts in the North part of the city, in the Administrative District. After entering the district through the Western gate, you’ll notice a dry fountain in front. The treasure will be in the fountain’s basin.

5. Wilderness Enigma Puzzles
1. Surrender
Location: This Enigma is located in the North sector of the region, in a graveyard called the Tomb of Zubaydah, which is situated close to the border between Harbiyah and Abbasiyah.
Head to the northern end of the graveyard, and you’ll find the Enigma on a tomb with a basket and a small lantern on it.
Clue: The clue is a message that talks about a submerged area with a dome in it, hinting at a sunken town of some sort. A partially submerged dome will be available on the map screen.
Solution: The treasure is located in the Northern Oasis, and Ukbara, its Northern town. Head to the western side of the northernmost domed building in the river, and you’ll find your treasure.

2. Joy Beneath Weeping Palms
Location: This Enigma is located in the southern sector of Wilderness, at the graveyard near the Gate of the Mills, where the Historical Site “Death and Afterlife” is located. It’ll be inside the gazebo-like structure at the base of the tombstone.
Clue: The clue is a drawing that depicts a palm tree grove with the bottom left area marked with an “X” indicating the location of the treasure.
Solution: The treasure is located in the grove of palm trees south of where you found the clue. Head to the grove’s southernmost section, and on the eastern side, you’ll find the treasure near a palm tree with a reddish-brown blanket.
Reward: Green Hidden One Outfit Dye
3. Reap From The Ruins
Location: The final Enigma is located in the southern corner of Jarjaraya. In the southern corner of the town, there’ll be a mansion that you can enter. Go to the top floor, and you’ll find your clue scroll on the floor, lying beside a dead man.
Clue: The clue is very ominous and shows the back of some ruins under which there seems to be a Cthulhu-like monster. It also isn’t marked like the other ones.
Solution: The treasure is located in the ruins on the Easternmost peninsula, where the Historical Site Seleucia-on-the-Tigris is located. To the east of these ruins will be a fork-like tree, at the base of which the treasure will be located. But proceed with caution, as a snake guards the treasure.

Assassin’s Creed Mirage is an action-adventure game developed by Ubisoft Bordeaux and published by Ubisoft. The game is the thirteenth primary installment in the Assassin’s Creed series and the successor to 2020’s Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. While its historical timeframe precedes that of Valhalla, its modern-day framing story succeeds Valhalla’s own.
