The Railroad Headquarters is known to be quite tricky to find. Even seasoned players can stroll past obvious clues, wondering where exactly this base of operations might be. No shame in that, of course. There are a couple of handy signs which will lead you right where you want to go. You just need to know where to look.
Where is the Railroad Headquarters?
The Railroad Headquarters is in the heart of the Old North Church. Simply, follow The Freedom Trail to reach the Railroad HQ. There are multiple stops you have to make on the way before landing up at your desired destination.
Route to Railroad HQ
Brace yourself, it’s going to be a long walk!
I. Park Street Station
The Freedom Trail in Boston begins from the Park Street Station. It will lead you to the headquarters. The station is around Swan’s Pond and Boston Common.
Once at the station, head to the fountain.
Look for a golden Marker on the ground. It should read “The Freedom Trail Boston”.
II. Trail of red paint
The objective is pretty simple– follow the red paint line on the yellow brick road.
It will terminate once you reach the Old North Church iin North End.
The trail might disappear at some places but keep marching forward.
Another way to stay on the right path is to look for gold Freedom Trail emblems. You will keep spotting them along the way.
III. Old North Church
Just as you step inside the church, you will be ambushed by deadly Ghouls.
Once that is dealt with, head into the main chapel area. Then take a right turn.
The building will be hard to spot but a ruined balcony with a white lantern motif is your mark.
Head down the stairs next and take a right. Take a left. (If you see another lantern, you’re good to go)
Go down the corridor and turn right. Go down the next corridor as well and take yet another right.
Before you know it, the entry to the Railroad Headquarters will be right in front of you.
Interact with the button and the wall will move to the side, revealing a hidden room.
Head inside and you will be greeted by Desdemona and others.
