How to Locate and Defeat The Lyre in AC Valhalla? – Full Guide

Every protagonist in each of the Assassin’s Creed games has one goal in particular, i.e., to defeat the Templars or Order of the Ancients corrupting their land. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s main character Eivor follows the same route. From fighting for peace in England to discovering the true purpose of hidden assassins, Eivor has to deal with the Maegesters of the Order of the Ancients to continue his journey in the game.

One such Maegester is the Lyre a.k.a Tatfrid who needs to be eliminated for the sake of peace. If you’re struggling to find this man and cannot seem to locate his whereabouts, here’s something that might help you find him quickly.

First things first, make sure you have eliminated all the other members of the Order (Billhook, Anvil, Lathe, Ash-Spear, Tang, and Crozier) before you try to locate the Lyre, since his location will only be marked after the members’ death.

1. Where is the Lyre Located in AC Valhalla?

The Lyre also known as Tatfrid can be found roaming in Grantebridge in the region Grantebridgescire of the AC Valhalla Map. The Lyre will likely be roaming around the town, playing instruments or leisurely strolling, so players have to be careful to not get spotted by him.

A sneak kill is necessary to take him down without the chance of getting exposed.

III. The Lathe

The Lathe a.k.a Mucel can be found walking around the village of Buckingham in Oxenefordscire. Players need to wait a bit before attacking so as to not alarm any of the guards.

IV. The Ash-Spear

The Ash-Spear Gifle can be found hidden in his Forest Hideout near East Anglia of Grantebridgescire. Players once again need to utilize their hidden blade and assassinate this enemy.

V. The Tang

The Tang a.k.a Wigmund can be eliminated only when attempting the “An Island of Eels” mission in the Grantebridgescire area. Players have the choice of full frontal attack or a quick sneak kill.
