Brookhaven Hospital is an important location for Silent Hill 2 fans. It is where James ends up while going after Laura. There are many floors in the hospital and it is a large building to say the least. On the third floor, there’s an X-Ray room and a sweet little puzzle for you!
How to solve the X-Ray Puzzle?
On the second floor, there is a Nurses Station with a Keypad on the door. But you don’t have the code for now.
Take a right turn and go to the Director’s Office. Use the stairs to reach the third floor. You need to enter Exam Room 5 by breaking the glass window. Grab the Inner Ward Key from the desk.
Go to the X-Ray room. There are already two X-Rays on the viewer. It needs four radiographs in total. Your objective is to find the last radiograph.
Look around the room. You will find the radiograph of a pelvis.
Where is the last radiograph?
Go to the Inner Ward on the first floor. Use the key to access the room and head left to the pantry. Check for the Mold Remover somewhere around.
Next, go to the Pharmacy. There’s no door so you need to go to the Dayroom. Use the crack in the wall to enter the Garden. Walk to the Pool area. Be careful, there will be a few Lying Figures waiting for you.
Use the double doors to enter the Director’s Office. Here’s where you will find the Keypad code for the Nurses Station. It differs based on the difficulty level– 3578 (Light/Standard Mode) or 7456 (Hard Mode).
Once you are inside the Nurses Station, go to the Treatment Room. There should be a moldy radiograph placed inside the tub.
Use the Mold Remover to clean it up. Return to the X-Ray room to complete the puzzle. Place all four radiographs and match them to the markings. The puzzle will reveal the following numbers– 4, 37, and 12.
What to do after solving the X-Ray puzzle?
Go to room D1. There will be a lock placed on the door. Use the numbers you just got to open it.
The rotation sequence is written on the door but in case you want it simplified– Right 4, Left 37, Right 12.
You can collect the Filthy Bracelet after the cutscene is over.
