Staffs in Elden Ring are powerful tools that players can utilize to cast spells and other types of sorceries. While players can also use the primary Staff that comes along with the Prisoner or Astrologer Elden Ring classes, a few Staffs buried throughout the open-world game are too potent to miss out on.
These mighty magical objects can multiply the strength of your Elden Ring incantations to exceptionally high levels so that you can destroy even the strongest Elden Ring enemies in a single blow.
Many Elden Ring Staffs can decrease the casting time of the superior level spells. However, players can also utilize Elden Ring Spirit Ashes to keep their opponents at bay while firing magic at them.
You can find every Staff in Elden Ring buried in various locations, purchase them from merchants, or retrieve them by killing enemies. They’re a bit difficult to get your hands on because searching for them will require you to jump across dangerous gaps.
Here’s a guide to help you find all the Staffs in Elden Ring!
1 Staff – Academy Glintstone Staff
Players can find the Academy Glintstone Staff on Thop’s dead body. Nevertheless, you’ll have to kill him or complete his Elden Ring sidequest to obtain it.
2 Staff – Albinauric Staff
Upon reaching the Guest Hall Grace Site in the Volcano Manor region of Mt. Gelmir, head left and climb up the staircases nearby. Then, progress outside and go up the ladder towards the left. You’ll obtain the Albinauric Staff after entering a room containing an Omenkiller.
3 Staff – Astrologer’s Staff
If you opt for the Astrologer class while starting the game, you’ll receive this Staff in the Astrologer set. The rest of the players can purchase it in Liurnia of the Lakes for 800 Runes from the Nomadic Merchant.
4 Staff – Azur’s Glintstone Staff
You can get your hands on Azur’s Glintstone Staff by navigating to the Raya Lucaria Academy. More accurately, it’s located across the rooftops from the Debate Hall Grace Site.
5 Staff – First Carian Glintblade Staff
The first Carian Glintblade Staff is on the topmost floor of the Highway Lookout Tower. Additionally, the tower is located in the eastern region of Liurnia of the Lakes.
6 Staff – Second Carian Glintblade Staff
Although this Carian Glintblade Staff is also present in Liurnia of Lakes, players will find it on a corpse. Moreover, they’ll have to travel to the Carian Study Hall to search for this corpse.
7 Staff – Carian Regal Scepter Staff
In order to get the Carian Regal Scepter Staff, you need to unlock the Remembrance of the Full Moon Queen. Players can unlock it by defeating Rennala, the Full Moon Queen, in Raya Lucaria Academy.
Lastly, you’ll have to hand it over to Enia at the Roundtable Hold, and voila! The Carian Regal Scepter Staff will be yours.
8 Staff – Crystal Staff
This Staff is located within a chest protected by a magician in Academy Crystal Cave in Liurnia of the Lakes. Specifically, it’s on the other side of a rare rock wall on the left of a tunnel prior to a stone archway.
9 Staff – Demi-Human Queen’s Staff
Once you reach the Demi-Human Forest Ruins in the Weeping Peninsula in Elden Ring, you’ll come across a Demi-Human Queen. She’ll drop this Staff after you demolish her in battle.

16 Staff – Rotten Crystal Staff
You can find the Rotten Crystal Staff as droppings from two opponents. The first is a Crystalian Mage in the initial half of Elpahel, Brace of the Haligtree, and the second is also a Crystalian Mage, but near the Elpahel Inner Wall Grace Site.
17 Staff – Staff of Loss
After jumping across roofs west of Sellia, Town of Sorcery in Caelid, you’ll gain access to a dead body leaning on a balcony in a building. The Staff of Loss will be on that corpse.
