However, Napoleon was made at a staggering budget of $200 million, so it is not close to recovering its costs at the global box office. But Apple is not concerned about the film’s financial gains as of now, as it hopes to gain more revenue after the film’s debut on the streaming platform.

Apple has already tested this strategy with Martin Scorcese’s Killers of the Moon. If it works with Napoleon, they will also use the same strategy for Matthew Vaughn’s Argylle.

In the best-case scenario, Napoleon will also grab the attention in the next award season, making it a win-win situation for Apple.
